Death wasn't something she had delusions about. She was a healer, and she did her job well. However, she was no saint. She had limits, and people must die. Stories end and those of no effect vanish. It was one of the lessons she learned at the academy, and then truly understood in combat.

Still, at this scale, that was not the natural way of things. One did not die in such a way, not at this scale. The hurt of this idea showed in her eyes as she looked at him, "Yes... all legends must reach an end eventually. I just did not expect the only legends to survive to be the ones in my memory. Don't your people find solace in the fact they will be remembered?"
