Superficial Gossip [Open]
So, what had she accomplished lately?
Miku sat on one of the fleshy, fatty couches on the observation deck, thinking about that subject. She was dressed in her plantsuit and a miniskirt (for modesty's sake), having finally run out of clothing that she'd gotten from... someone.
Somewhere.
Who had that kind person been? She'd have to find them and thank them, and though Miku tried hard to bring their face, voice, or name to mind, it was as though she were trying to think through vanilla pudding. Well, someday, they'd see each other again.
But, anyway, what had she accomplished? Miku leaned forward in her seat, her chin in her hands, and looked out the window. She was slowly getting past her fear of people, so that was good. She'd made a new friend in Kara, over miniskirts. She was ever-so-slowly learning to control her abilities. Then there was Steve, of course. Miku laughed to herself and covered her eyes.
Was it possible to be embarrassed just thinking about someone? Apparently, the answer was yes.
Still, there were things she had been slacking in. It'd been ages since she'd cleaned something that wasn't virtual (not including her room, of course. She'd even cleaned the empty side!), and if she didn't start practicing her developing soon, then she'd certainly forget how to. Miku sighed, threw herself backwards against the couch, and looked at the ceiling.
"I need more things to do, I think," she murmured to herself. "Definitely, without a doubt." But what? And with who?

He glanced around the lounge. "It's quite a view, isn't it," he said, indicating the Bleed.

She hoped the Obs deck would. After all there were always people running around there.
When she spotted the girl on the couch, she just watched for a moment. She knew the way she was sitting. She was thinking about someone she liked. Cissie got that look all the time when she thought of Bart. Then she heard her speak and smiled.
"So I'm not the only one who's bored out of her mind. We should start a club."

She bowed and smiled, "It's nice to meet you, my name is Miku Hinasaki."

"Trust me, the feelings never go away, but sometimes they do lessen."

You had to be respectful of your in-laws"It's going, ah... well, I guess." Certainly there was nothing going badly, except the fact that she didn't really have a place on the ship but to float about. "How are you? Are you sleeping well?" It was such an inane thing to say, she knew, but further flailing was only in her future if she asked other things. She just knew it.

Maybe she could help with that, somehow. Hm. "I caught a cold shortly after the nightmare king business, but I'm better now. Much better. Ah... well, I feel like I'm forgetting something important, but I can't put my finger on what it was."

He watched it for a moment, then looked back at Miku. Since she'd started seeing Steve, Luke meant to make it a point to treat her as he'd treat any girlfriend of Ben's. Politely, and like she was already part of the family.
"You've started forgetting things too?"

Miku didn't want to see something she shouldn't, not again. She shrugged at Luke and sighed. "I'm sure I'll remember someday soon, don't worry."

It wasn't a satisfying explanation, but it was the best Luke could come up with.

"So maybe it will, no sense in thinking it wouldn't," she just hoped that it would, and soon. Having a gap in her memory was just unusual and disquieting.

Luke was quiet a moment, then smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry. I've been a teacher too long, it slips out sometimes."
