Repose [Open]

Peace seemed to be a hard thing to find on a ship full of beings from different races, planets and different times, but Inara had found it, at least for a little while, in the sensorium. She had needed the quiet to sort her thoughts, to try to remember something.. someone which fluttered right at the edge of her consciousness. She had though the tranquility of the training house on Shinon would help with that. It had always been a place where she felt comfortable, accepted and mostly a place she felt completely in control of herself.

She stood on the ledge of the steps which lead down away from her private rooms and looked over the impressive mountains and trees which surrounded the training house. A soft breeze caused the gazar curtains to stir softly and the chimes to make a low almost melancholy sound.

Clasping her hands before her, Inara sighed softly. It seemed as though no matter how hard she tried to grasp what she thought she needed to remember, the memory was determined to stay right out of her reach and that was indeed very frustrating to her. Closing her eyes, she lifted her face up, allowing the sun to wash over her and tried to clear her mind once again.

Sparhawk does not make a habit of intruding into other people's Sensorium time, but with his mind distracted the way that it has been, it is easy for him to walk into the wrong one.

But rather than leaving straight away before being noticed, there is something about the tranquility of the setting that draws him in deeper. He is back to wearing the plantsuit, having left his armour behind, but his sword is still resting at his hip.

Sparhawk hadn't expected to find the occupant of the Sensoriums so quickly, but offered a polite smile in return.

Accepting the offered hand, he bowed slightly over it. "I am Sir Sparhawk. Delighted to meet you, Lady Inara. I apologise for intruding on you."

Luis always felt like he had no right to barge in when other people had the sensoriums and figured that when Inara agreed to meet him for an evening, she would have rather he waited until she was through. Still, he found it hard to turn down the peaceful location she had dreamed up. It felt like being in the country again, which (despite how much he always claimed to hate it) always put Luis at ease.

"Hey, seƱorita. Nice place," he commented. "I hope you don't mind, I came a little early."

He was looking rather cleaned up compared to his normal at-work appearance-- a red button-up shirt, a brown jacket, his hair pulled back smooth and his glasses on for once. It was actually a studied process when Luis decided when and when not to wear his glasses-- he needed them to read anything in front of him, but was confident enough to fake it if he didn't think the woman in question would be impressed by the nerd look.

Oh, Luis.

"It's very beautiful," he said, reminding himself she probably wouldn't be interested in discussing the geography, climate and atmospheric statistics of the place. "Reminds me of the place where I grew up as well."

Jamie really needs to learn to stop wandering into the Sensoriums on a whim. And maybe he will - someday - but today is not that day. He walks slowly through the peaceful setting, turning slightly from time to time to better take in the new surroundings he finds himself in.

That faint chiming noise drifts through the air and catches his attention. Following the sound, it only takes him a few minutes to find the steps and start up them. Spotting Inara takes slightly longer. When he does finally see her, he smiles, pleased to see that she made it through the situation with the Nightmare King. He knew she did, of course. It was just nice to see it with his own eyes.

He doesn't want to interrupt her musings, however, so he chooses to wait until she wishes to acknowledge him. He tries to be patient - and if he had a distraction apart from the chimes, he might have a better chance of succeeding. It's just harder for him to do so when he's standing and doing nothing, and after a short while he starts to fidget. He's at least trying to do that quietly, for what it's worth.

"Hello, Inara." Jamie stops fidgeting and smiles at her instead. "Aye, sorry about that. I'm afraid I wasna paying much attention when I walked in. I can leave if you'd rather be alone, but..." He thought he'd at least say hello first.

He hooks his thumbs around the chain that holds his sporran in place and glances around. "It's a verra nice place, though."

Sam had been training in one of the Sensoriums. Piloting, mostly, though he'd done a bit of hunting as well. It probably said something that the hunting had mostly been used to relax from the X-Wing.

He stopped outside another one, surprised when it opened as he passed. He looked around with interest before clearing his throat so as not to surprise the woman there. "It's beautiful here."
