"A conspiracy of Mom-aliens? 'Clean up your planet or no dessert'? 'Leave the atmosphere open a crack when you have girls over'?"

Jaime paused and reached out to grab Paco's arm.

It stuck out amongst the other colors.

"You sure it wasn't just some kind of reflection?" Paco asked, glancing down at Jaime's suit. Probably not, but a naked guy could hope, right?

"Pants or investigation first?"

"And me without a stick." Paco muttered. He heaved a sigh. "Okay, man. I've got your back.

They went 'sploring and foooound...

"Nada. Could've sworn I saw something."

"Are you sure it wasn't some kind of reflection?" Paco asked, looking around for a possible reflective surface. Because the other option was that the mysterious blue thing had escaped. And was probably watching them.

"I'm pretty sure. Which means it could be watching us. Which means now we definitely need to get you pants."

They went back to walking the yellow-blink road.

"Greeeat." Paco walked faster.

The two of them finally arrived at the end of the line and found themselves looking into what appeared to be a (mostly) empty room.

"...I'm not liking the tentacles," Paco said after a moment.

"If they get fresh, I will save you from them."

"I mean it, no more alien technology for you," Paco said, before gingerly stepping into the room. "So, uh, what do I do?"

"Yes ma'am," Paco said, shooting a look back over his shoulder at Jaime before doing as Stacy had told him to.

"YAAAGH!"

TENTACLE ATTACK!

Jaime jumped up, grabbed a tentacle and climbed into the mass of them to try to pull Paco free.

"Puthimdownputhimdownputhimdown!"

Some of the tentacles disengaged from badtouching whatever they were doing to Paco and wrapped themselves around Jaime as well, immobilizing him.

||Do not be alarmed,|| Stacy instructed. ||Neither of you will be harmed.||

True to Stacy's words, they were both set down moments later, with Paco clad in a jumpsuit made of a green, plant-like material.

Paco stumbled a bit, staring down at his jumpsuit.

"Jaime, does Khaji have a pulse? Because this thing--" he plucked at his jumpsuit, "--has a pulse."

"Yet," Paco muttered. He moved away from the tentacles. "Okay, I've got pants now. Creepy pants, but still pants. Let's go find your blue thing."
