Not-so-free Flying
TObias, too, has taken to spending a lot of time in the Sensorium, to get away from the metal and wierd flesh-or-whatever-it-is and into somethng more realistic for a while. He gets it to set up like a forest, complete with a few simulated thermals and some mice to hunt to keep up his skills. ALthough not being able to eat them is making him crazy. He also knows Ax can have fun in this environment, and begins to think of asking him to transform it into an Andalite planet-scape, just for curiosity's scape.
He's worried still about what's going on back in his own world. How many of his friends are here on the ship? Has history been changed with Ax being pulled out of reality earlier than he was? Are the Yeerks still defeated? He wishes he knew for sure.
(ooc I'm not sure what Ax's tag is but anyway...)

Ax was amazed that Stacy even managed to get the smells correct. The simulated grass even tasted the same, to the limited degree of taste that he had through his hooves. He hadn't trusted that Stacy would keep the rest of the crew out of here to use the room as an Andalite before, but now he had no reason to hide it.

Tobias picked up the sounds fairly quickly with his hawk senses.
< Hi. I guess this is better than nothing. At least I'm not constantly working to stay in the air like in the rest of the ship. And it's good to hunt even if they're only simulated mice that'll disappear as soon as I leave. Anyway,I wonder...sometime, could you make this place look like your world? I'd like to see it sometime. Or as close to seeing it as I'll probably get as long as we're stuck here. >

He looked up at Tobias, and his shorm would be able to see him doing the Andalite smile with his eyes. < I would like that very much, actually. I have not actually seen if Stacy can reproduce my home world yet -- I did not want to risk someone else entering the Sensorium and asking questions. >

A chilling thought.

Reality was a bit of a funny thing to be talking about when they were standing in a room that could make them believe that they were anywhere they chose to be.

< I just hope there is a way to get back. Answers aren't easy to get around here. >

He did miss the other Animorphs, though. He knew how to work with them. He wasn't sure how to deal with some of the other people on board -- too many of them were reluctant to fall in under leadership of any sort. It reminded him worryingly of David, and that was not something he enjoyed being reminded of.
Andalite optimism made Ax want to believe that they would find a way back. Realistically, though...
< We have been in unusual situations before and found our way back. >
