The Challenge From Beyond - Regroup
You're the ones who are good enough (or lucky) enough to be close to Escherville. You've had the good fortune to be scooped up and now you need to regroup and get ready to take on the Nightmare King himself. Time to reorganize and gear up as best you can with what you've got. The Nightmare King isn't going to wait for you.
Get moving.
((OOC: This is for the various groups/peoples who will be fighting the Nightmare King directly or assisting in that endeavor. If your character was in one of the Challenge from Beyond Groups, tag them in here! Feel free to do some tagging back and forth and enjoy yourselves. Please get tagged in by Tuesday night, March 2nd though, so we can get the Final Fight properly organized. ))

Alessa took a breath. "You are right. She did know. Let us go forward then."

Truthfully, she just wanted to make sure Roxie wasn't a threat to the crew: they might kill her then.

"Yes," he said dead-pan. Leaving her there was exactly what he was saying. Roxie was stronger than she appeared, stronger than many of them--perhaps--realized. If she survived her ordeal, Castiel was certain she would catch up. "Unless you would prefer to wait for more people to end up like her," he added before turning away from the group and heading straight for Escherville itself.

THE EVENING AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD SHALL COME , Roxie says, mouth twisting around an impossible three-toned voice. THE CHILDREN OF THE EARTH SHALL WAR IN HEAVEN. ALL SHALL SUFFER ON THE WHEEL. ONE SHALL WRITE IN THE BOOK. ALL SHALL SUFFER ON THE WHEEL. THE ALL-SELF SHALL WRITE IN THE BOOK.
And then a shudder wracks her, holes through her chest wheezing black slime, and she coughs violently. Hurk, hurkâshe collapses on her side and vomits up twitching white things, somewhere between half-developed organs and tumors and mutated crustaceans.
And then she collapses on her back again, though now her eyes are open, and her mouth is feebly wheezing for air. Her skin is crusted black all over, half-formed with lizardlike scales, somewhere between necrosis and mutation. At the cracks silver runes shine through, as though carved into her skin.

That was probably monumentally stupid, but he had had enough of this. This display was only slowing them down. Besides, his worst nightmare was himself, infected, and he managed to beat that. He wasn't as worried if Roxie's nightmare infected him.
"Listen, whatever the hell is going on with her, she'll have to get over it en route.
"Seer, you're with me. Everyone else, stop gawking, go see Nanoha for your assignments, and do one last check of your gear. There's a God who needs his ass kicked, and in five minutes, we move out to do so."

"I'm going to the Captain like Nanoha already requested of me," Alessa said icily. "If you want to order people around, do it to them. Anyone with half a brain might actually pay attention to what Roxie was saying in the first place, but really, this shouldn't be such a big surprise to me."
And Alessa walked over to Kirk. This had been enough time wasted, and she figured she better start focusing on the preservation of the crew and not her growing disgust with how people reacted all day.

First at everyone's reaction to Roxie (because really, that was just funny to him), and then at the gall Leon had at ordering him like he was some Imperial Guard recruit.
It simply struck him amusing that an Adeptus Arbites equivalent would have the courage to order any Space Marine, let alone a member of the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus.
"Let me make one thing clear, Mr. Kennedy, before we proceed," he says, the amused look fading slightly. "I have fought the forces of the Daemonic for nearly eight centuries. I know how they fight. I know how they think. And I know how to beat them."
"Therefore, if I give any command during this operation, it is not a suggestion. It is not even an order. It is something that absolutely must be done, should you wish this battle to end favorably."
"Do I make myself clear?"

She stepped forward almost between them and summoned a subtle use of Voice. "Please. The two of you are going to need to get along and be flexible if we are to be victorious." The Voice resonated on frequencies inaudible to humans. The targets, assuming they were not specifically trained to resist it, would feel a compulsion, an entirely unconscious insistence that she was right and they should do exactly what she said.

People are in danger, the rest of the crew is risking insanity... and everyone still won't shut the hell up and just... do something useful.
If his hands were free, he'd facepalm.
Its times like this that Leon wondered if all of reality was still worth saving. But Sherry was still unaccounted for, and she was definitely worth saving.
"No one is doubting your knowledge, or anything you or anyone else could do. I know you know more about this that I do." And Leon had no problem admitting that. "So if you give an order, I'll follow," and it annoyed Leon that he'd have to spell out something that seemed like common sense to him, just to assuage a centuries old ego. He wasn't even the one leading this mission, Nanoha and Kirk were. His job was to help them make it happen, which meant keeping people focused. "But until you actually give one--" which the Seer hadn't, up until this point, "--don't expect me or anyone else to stand around and wait for it.
"We're out of time," and that was about the only thing he knew for sure. "'Standing around' and 'doing nothing' are no longer viable options." Not with his daughter still out there going through hell. Not with the sanity and lives of the rest of the crew at stake. Not while he still had a job to do.
And if anyone wants to argue that, they can feel free. But they'll have to do it without Leon, who was leaving the conversation.

Of course, he couldn't walkk too fast, since he was helping Kala and all...
"Look, as much as I'm enjoying the pissing contest? I need a medic here. Leon, you're running security, you ought to know who we've got here; anyone who can heal? She needs it." He gestured his head towards Kala, who was really not looking pretty at the moment.

Why do people insist on adding commentary to everything? At least he didn't go into an hour long rant.
"See what McGinnis and the Scarlet Witch can do for her." And otherwise pray that one of the doctors shows up.
