You've had the good fortune to be scooped up and now you need to regroup and get ready to take on the Nightmare King himself. Time to reorganize and gear up as best you can with what you've got. The Nightmare King isn't going to wait for you.

Matt smiled and patted his friend on the shoulder. "Just a promise man. Promise me you'll make it out okay. That's all I ask for."

He grinned and flipped the shield. "Cause you know, we're about to go into battle with an uncharted enemy, into territories unknown. Thrall's people have a saying: Lok'tar Ogar. It means victory or death. I think this time we can go with the victory, and save the death for the Nightmare King. What say you bud?"

An affirmative nod, a dangerous grin that narrowed his eyes…Yes, Aeneas was prepared. He was prepared and he wanted to see this creature suffer. It was a new feeling, that one, and it wasn’t exactly unwelcomed.

“You can make sure I uphold that promise if we stick together,” the alien suggested, “Believe me. I will not let you out of my sight.”

And letting beings out of his sight was a difficult endeavor—he had three eyes, after all. If Matt went above him he’d still be able to keep track.

Matt grinned and patted his friend. "You got it. We'll stick together for as long as time allows. I also made a promise to Katara that we'll rescue Aang and I'm so going to keep that promise."

He smirked as he sheathed the sword and put up his shield. "Now all we do is wait for Kirk and Nanoha to get us all together."

Aeneas would’ve returned the gesture, but after seeing Matt’s torn shoulder he was rather hesitant to carry out that action. Instead he just gave him a knowing smile.

“You and I both—and I will not stop looking now. That human has been fighting long enough. He deserves a break, yes?”

"You betcha. We're going to smack this guy so hard, he'll fly back to the extra dimensional space that crawled out of." grinned Matt. "I think the Captain's trying to get us all together. Let's pay attention."
