You've had the good fortune to be scooped up and now you need to regroup and get ready to take on the Nightmare King himself. Time to reorganize and gear up as best you can with what you've got. The Nightmare King isn't going to wait for you.

"Uh, thanks...," he responded, glancing at the shield. He had held on to it mostly caused it proved useful. That it might actually mean something to her hadn't really entered the equation. At least not until now.

"Whose was it?"

"It belonged to a teammate- and friend- of mine, Captain America. A noble man."

Leon didn't quite cringe at the name, but his face shifted a little, as if he just give a sour aftertaste in his mouth.

"Captain... America?" The image that came to mind wasn't exactly a pleasant one.

"His name bothers you?" Wanda was, of course, used to a world of caped men wearing spandex with such flamboyant titles as Captain America or Captain Marvel or even Thor.

"It... uh... No offense to your friend, but I'm not sure if I should be proud, or apologize on behalf of my country." He was leaning towards the latter.

[hexyeah]

"You should be proud. He was- is one of the most honorable men I have ever met, and an incredible leader. I hope one day soon you will have the opportunity to meet him and see for yourself."

"That's good, especially if he's running around with something looking like this," he said, indicating the shield. He'd really hate for the guy to be some kind of well meaning redneck like USAgent.
