It Had Been Simple Enough [Open]

Rein was tired from the long time it took to work on all of the devices, including giving herself a checkup. But she was finally done and the devices had been returned to their proper owners.

Feeling a little lonely, the small device had floated to the Sensoriums and conjured up a version of the house she shared with Hayate and the Wolkenritter. Floating around, she had pulled out bowls and small little things, shifting to her full sized form to crack a few eggs. Soon, a batch of cookies were being baked in the oven and Rein was tired as she shifted back to her small form.

She had only meant to sit down for a moment but the couch was soooooo comfy in her opinion that she had soon curled up with her favorite fluffy towel rolled into a full body pillow and had drifted away. All the while, the timer on the oven puttered away, the smell of chocolate and macadamia nut wafting through the air as Rein snored away.

Kazami had been planning on using the Sensoriums to punch his problems away. Imagine his surprise when he finds an empty house filled with the smell of cookies baking. Glancing about for any occupants, he opens the oven slightly to check on their progress. Not done yet. As he stands, he notes the timer and sighs, feeling a little stupid.

He turns around and starts to head out when his hearing, better than a normal human's, picks up someone snoring. A very small someone. He knows of only one person on the crew teeny enough to be that quiet. Sure enough, a more detailed search reveals Reinforce. He blinks, staring at her, then at the cookies, then back at her, wondering how the tiny woman had managed all of that. It must have been a hassle. With a slight nod, Kazami sits in a spare space on the couch, crosses his arms, and waits for the timer. At the first sign of a bad dream from Rein, he'll probably nudge her awake.

Kazami holds up both hands, showing that he means no harm. "Just a little while ago. You didn't seem to be in need of waking up, so I figured I'd stick around and make sure your cookies didn't burn." Besides, it seems like everyone needs what little restful sleep they can get around here.

"Should I have left?" He raises an eyebrow. It's a serious question, with just enough concern put in to avoid sounding offended.

He nods, smiling slightly, and stands. "I'd love a cookie, thank you." He turns to the kitchen and starts walking, intending on giving her a hand with the tray of cookies. After all, she's too tiny to carry it by herself, right? "They certainly smell good."

The question as to why she can cook goes unasked. Rein is a woman, after all.

"Buh?" He stares a bit at the sudden show of magic and height changing. He looks from her spot on the couch, then back to her. A small frown crosses his face as he puts the math together. "...You're a cyborg?" ...Not even close, Kazami. He looks more confused than anything else, he hadn't thought she was anything like that. But...
