Terry had sent the message out, and now he was waiting on one of the couches in the obs deck. He'd heard about Jason being on the ship, but had yet to meet him. Well, it was about time that he did. They were all part of the same family, in a sense. He figured that more or less made them allies. And it was important to know his allies.

[ooc: This is mostly for Jason, but anyone in the area can feel free to talk to Terry. Just do so in a separate thread from the Jason stuff, please.]

Jason hadn't replied to the message, but he was curious. Who in the world was this kid, and what was his connection to the main bat? Curiosity got the best of him and he moved into the obs desk, his hands shoved into the pockets of the jeans Dick had gotten him.

"You called?"

"The one and only." He stopped walking, standing in front of the guy who looked about the same as as he was. That would make things at least a little easier. "So what'd you want?"

He snorted as he heard that. Family. Jason had lost all rights to be apart of the family when he had tried to kill Tim the first time. His whole time here was being dedicated to getting back into the good graces of his dear father. But he didn't even think it was possible.

"I haven't been a Robin for a very long. Heck, no one but Dick even speaks to me. So I'm not much in with the family either."

Jason regarded the guy before him with a closed off expression. This guy didn't know anything about him, yet wanted to trust him? It didn't make any sense to him, but then again, very little on this boat did.

"You don't even know me. There's way you could, and then say that." He shook his head. He really hated to burst this bubble, but it had to be done.

"Why am I not surprised you were in juvie." Jason was actually surprised. This kid reminded him of Dick and Tim mixed up into one. But then again, Tim had busted him out of jail once. Dick though, he had that whole point of his life where he worked for the mob. They were all bad seeds at one point it seemed. Just none of them killed. Which is why he wasn't in the family.

"What was that?" He blinked a bit and had to shake his head a few times. Did this kid just call himself Batman? "I think I heard you wrong. Did you just say that you were Batman? Maybe you meant you're Batboy. There's no way you're Batman. None." He didn't find this as funny as when Steph has said she was Batgirl. This was more like being punched in the gut, several times.

Jason was used to the tone. It was one Kyle used on him every time they talked. Heck it was the tone that he used against most people back home. So he wasn't phased. A bit strange hearing it directed at him, but nothing really enough to put him off.

"Batman? Honestly?" He blinked a bit. This felt like a kick to the balls. "What year are you from?"

Jason blinked. That was just so far in the future. How had the old man lived so long? It was really mind boggling. "Alternate Universe..." The words left his mouth before he could stop them. But the sadness wasn't hiding from his words and voice.

"Sorry Terry. Maybe you are Batman back in your world. And you're a damn lucky bastard at that. But Bruce... back where I'm from... he's gone. Dead." He shakes his head a bit. His heart hurting as he spoke. Because he knew that even if Bruce was here, and he might be able to connect with him, it wasn't the same.

He blinked a bit and watched the guy in front of him. There was something he wasn't saying. And Jason was starting to get pissed. He shook his head and then smiled.

"Seems that our dear old Batgirl leaves a print on everyone." He frowns a bit. "And you can thank the Joker for paralyzing her. If it hadn't been for the old man, I would have handled him myself." A dark look passed over his eyes, but he didn't look away. It was obvious that he had serious issues with the Clown Prince of Crime. Huge, mammoth sized issues.

Jason smirked. "In mine, he's ruined far more than one life." He shook his head and looked away. His hand going up to his hair and rubbing at something hidden underneath. A small scar that you couldn't see, but Jason knew was there. Just like the bruises that he could see on his fingers, but weren't really there.
