Terry had sent the message out, and now he was waiting on one of the couches in the obs deck. He'd heard about Jason being on the ship, but had yet to meet him. Well, it was about time that he did. They were all part of the same family, in a sense. He figured that more or less made them allies. And it was important to know his allies.
[ooc: This is mostly for Jason, but anyone in the area can feel free to talk to Terry. Just do so in a separate thread from the Jason stuff, please.]

"You called?"

"If you're Jason Todd, the former Robin, then yeah, I did."

"I've worked with Bruce. Not exactly the same way you and all the other Robins did, but I still know him. If you were a Robin, you're part of the weird family he created. Figured if I know the rest of 'em, I should meet you, too."

"I haven't been a Robin for a very long. Heck, no one but Dick even speaks to me. So I'm not much in with the family either."

This was a side of himself that Terry didn't often show. It was that spark - of leadership, maturity, whatever - that Bruce must have seen in him when he agree to let him be the new Batman.

"You don't even know me. There's way you could, and then say that." He shook his head. He really hated to burst this bubble, but it had to be done.

"Besides, as Batman, I at least need to keep tabs on the people that've been connected to the legacy." His tone was pretty ambiguous, but when he said that, he really meant that he need to know how to take any of them down if he needed to. He'd already had to fight Tim twice, after all.

"What was that?" He blinked a bit and had to shake his head a few times. Did this kid just call himself Batman? "I think I heard you wrong. Did you just say that you were Batman? Maybe you meant you're Batboy. There's no way you're Batman. None." He didn't find this as funny as when Steph has said she was Batgirl. This was more like being punched in the gut, several times.

The 'Batboy' thing, though? His eye involuntarily twitched. It was subtle, the rest of his face rather neutral, but noticeable enough. If there was one thing guaranteed to raise his hackles, it was a jab about him being Batman. "Yeah, Batman," he said, his voice that dangerous sort of calm you hear on someone before right before they snap and start swinging bunches. "And I don't think you get to decide if I am or not."

"Batman? Honestly?" He blinked a bit. This felt like a kick to the balls. "What year are you from?"

Truth be told, Terry didn't want anyone to think that he had stolen the title, or forced Bruce to let him have it. Sure, he stole the Batsuit, but he had been willing to give it up after he almost killed Powers. Bruce had let him be Batman, even if Terry had taken the suit. Or at least that was how he justified the theft to himself.

"Sorry Terry. Maybe you are Batman back in your world. And you're a damn lucky bastard at that. But Bruce... back where I'm from... he's gone. Dead." He shakes his head a bit. His heart hurting as he spoke. Because he knew that even if Bruce was here, and he might be able to connect with him, it wasn't the same.

"Yeah, I know," he replied curtly to the comment about Bruce being dead. "Damien told me. So have a few other people. It's not the only thing different about our worlds, either. Like the way that Barbara Gordon is paralyzed in your world, but fine in mine." Or how you don't seem to exist.

"Seems that our dear old Batgirl leaves a print on everyone." He frowns a bit. "And you can thank the Joker for paralyzing her. If it hadn't been for the old man, I would have handled him myself." A dark look passed over his eyes, but he didn't look away. It was obvious that he had serious issues with the Clown Prince of Crime. Huge, mammoth sized issues.
