It's a Date [Closed]

Tony peered out at the passing Bleed, watching the swirling colors slide past. He felt a bit nervous for some reason - the idea of this being an "official" date was odd, but he was the one who proposed it. Huh. He hoped things would work out well (and so far, between him and Kate, things had been fantastic). It was nice to have someone grounding, someone there who he could just talk or cuddle with. It gave him something real to hold onto.

He grinned to himself and nervously tried to tame his unruly hair again. Nope. Not happening. He sighed and turned towards the door, laughing at himself. Kate liked his hair unruly. It was part of who he was.

Kate was so glad for the recent mission. She was able to pick up some much missed items. Like makeup, things for her hair. There was also the lightest hint (she wanted to be careful in case of extra sensitive nose) of lilacs as she walked through the door to the deck, smiling.

"Hey."

"Thanks. So do you. Some shopping on the last mission," Kate smiled softly as she took his hand. "Not too much for you is it?"

Her eyebrows quirked upward in interest at that, "And just what kind of trouble did you have in mind?"

"Sounds sweet for starters. Traditional." It's a date-date so to be expected.

Kate then said, "We've not really practiced or sparred much yet have we? Should do that too sometime."

She laughed at that, "You won't get an arrow in the butt. Was thinking more hand to hand, and yeah, we're dating and working together."

Kate then asked, "Sorry, kind of weird date conversation right?"

She smirked, "You don't have to worry, and I probably could kick your ass." She knew she didn't have a shot in his other form, but figured she could be a challenge for him when he's like this.

"Most of yours is hand to hand anyway, right? Any martial arts?"

"So strong. But are you quick?" She slipped around him, pivoting on her heel to do a brief quick poke to his side, and a kiss to his nose.

Kate laughed, and squirmed against him, "Ok, ok! You got lucky."

She laughed more, but her cheeks were turning pink when he growled. She turned her head to give him a proper kiss.

Kate then said, "So about that dinner idea. NY or LA?"

Gentle nuzzle back as she lingered close to him.

"Ok, I know some good places." She stepped back, but only so she could give a small tug to beckon him towards the Sensoriums.

She turned to him with surprise, "What kind of dream? Been harder to sleep lately with all this nightmare business going on."

"A cat? Like a regular cat or shapeshifts or...?" She hadn't come across her just yet, and was curious.

"Nice to have more New Yorkers around," she couldn't help adding as they walked into the Sensoriums, their steps now along Fifth Avenue. Traffic of both pedestrian and auto whipping past them in amidst the towering skyscrapers and older buildings of the city.

Thinking of her own recent dreams, she just nodded, "Dreams can be pretty scary like that. Especially now." Kate glanced away and fidgeted with her hands before taking a deep breath.

"Baxter Building and Stark Tower are down that way. My dad's office, Bishop Publishing, that's further downtown too. Central Park's that way, including where the Avengers mansion is. Or what's left of it." Since all of her memories would mainly know of it since the destruction and abandonment.
