The Doctor Is In [Open]
"Oh come on."
Doc was on the day rotation today.
He was happy to have showed up to his turn watching over the medbay and being on-call for injuries in a real shirt and pair of pants (thank you kid brother for your christmas gifts), but trying to work out how to use some of the more oddly orchestrated diagnostic equipment - this time with Stacy's help - has spoiled his good mood just a little.
"It's seriously JUST for earwax. You're kidding me right? Stacy, there is such a thing as too specific when it comes to tools, don't you think?"
He paused, listening to the reply in his head.
"... it works on HOW many species?"

"Oh yeah, come on in! Never too busy for a look at a limb." he said, pointing his new patient at a place to sit down. "What's bothering you about it?"

She hadn't even realized that McNinja was in the medlab until she heard him speaking... To himself.
Pushing up from her chair, she moved to the doorway of her office and leaned against it, crossing her arms. "You know, they say talking to yourself is the first step to going crazy," she called out to him in a teasing tone.

"Wait, what are you doing here? You're not on rotation today."

Her gaze moved over the clothing he wore and she grinned. "Seems we all got back a little normal, huh?" She herself had managed to find a red blouse and a pair of black slacks in the clothing Lex Luthor had brought back with him.
"Feels good, doesn't it?"
no subject
He gave her a quick look up and down. "You look nice, by the way."

She flashed him a smile and absently ran a hand over her blouse. "Thanks. It was either this or some cocktail dress. I figured this was safer for me."

During her wanderings, she happened to pass by the med bay and overheard McNinja's ranting. Stopping, Vivio turned and walked to the door, peeking in. Her eyes went wide seeing the device in his hands and, in her surprise, accidentally opened the door wider, letting out a bit of a surprised yelp as she did.
"Oops! U-Um... sorry... h-hi...!" Vivio said, waving sheepishly at the Doc as she righted herself.

"Well hey there, how are you doing?"

Just in case I get hurt training or I hurt someone... Vivio thought.
"Ah...! I don't think I've seen you before! My name's Vivio, Vivio Takamachi! It's nice to meet you, ahh..."

He stuck out a hand to her with a big smile. "I'm Doctor McNinja. I spent a bunch of time with, well I guess she's probably your big sister huh? Anyway, Nanoha and I spent some time together in a maze."
no subject
"It's nice to meet you, Doctor! So, you know Nanoha-mama, too? Isn't she awesome?"
She probably should have said that she was Nanoha's daughter and not little sister, but the 'Nanoha-mama' should be a big clue as to what her identity is.

bookdatapad at McNinja's outburst. He's commandeered one of the beds and has been quietly studying for the better part of an hour. (If he needs to, he can leave, but Hunter is technically part of the medical staff and the medbay is quiet.)"That seems kinda..." Impractical? Terrifying? Bizarre? "Unnecessary."

"Over here. How can I help - WHOA!"
.... Somehow Doc has missed the draconian on the ship, until he looked up just now anyway.
"Oh, uh... hi, sorry I just. Hi. Doctor McNinja. What can I do for you?"
