...and Again

Across the ship, dumped in a completely different hallway--one just outside the city--stood Cale Tucker. Or, rather, there sat Cale Tucker...one his butt...in the middle of the hall...wearing nothing but what appeared to be his shredded uniform as a make-shift loin-cloth. Though, however, it looked more like a hand-towel that he had to hold onto to keep from exposing himself to anyone and everyone who just might come walking by.

"Oh, come on!" he hollered out angrily. He, too, had been nabbed by a certain bored AI with an affinity for messing with the members of the crew and treating them like her own personal playthings. "I did everything you asked me to! I even did it naked when you said I had to! You can't just dump me out here like this."

He paused, waiting for a response but got nothing in return.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" he continued, climbing to his feet and, balling up his fist, began to pound on Stacy's fleshy walls in an effort to get the attention of his tormentor.

Indigo pauses at the sight and tilts her head curiously as she observes the naked human's plight. Stacy was kidnapping people and making them do things while naked? Fascinating. She'd have to be on guard for that kind of thing. Still, she can't just stand here silently forever, not while he's mooning her like that.

After a second's hesitation, she brings up a hand and fakes coughing, to catch his attention, then gives him a little wave. It's so hard not to smile a bit.

"Hello." She raises an eyebrow, eying the wall he'd been pounding on critically. "I don't think that was a very effective way of catching their attention. Perhaps you should try asking nicely?"

She has her doubts it would work, of course, but Indigo figures that a joke or two might help him to relax. Her delivery, however, could use work. A lot of work. "What are you doing here, like this?"

At least she doesn't seem bothered by the nudity?

"There is cake on board that I'm aware of." She pauses, considering the statement. "Then again, I have only been on board for a month. There may very well be a cake." But she thinks she would have heard about it if there were.

She watches him adjust the loincloth then raises an eyebrow. "There's a story behind that, I trust?"

Indigo nods for a moment before pausing. "That doesn't seem to have have enough room, I believe." She looks up at Cale, crossing her arms. "Would you like a portion of mine, until Stacy can outfit you with a new suit?"

Indigo tries not to smile a bit, but it's hard. She shakes her head, letting a slight giggle out, and crosses her arms. "If I were you, I'd try running towards the podpop areas." The tentacles could probably give him more clothes. Maybe. "Perhaps you'll get lucky and not run into anyone else. However, the pods have just popped, so your chances of succeeding are lower than before."

"I have no way of knowing." She shrugs, letting her arms dropped to the sides. "However, as I don't remember you, it has been at least a month. Perhaps more. Someone else who actually knows you would be a better choice to ask." She glances down and then back up at his face, clearly amused. "After you get a new suit."

She pauses, wondering what he means, before realization dawns on her face. "Ah!" She smiles politely and nods. "Yes, I can do that." Without further ado, she takes a place about three feet in front of Cale and begins making her way to the pod containment area, keeping an eye out for anyone else.

After a few seconds of walking, she turns her head, speaking over her shoulder. "My name is Indigo, by the way."

"Cale Tucker." She looks forward again, tucking his name away for future reference. A good thing about being an android, she didn't have to worry about forgetting someone's name.

She glances around, then up, as if looking. "The majority of the crew is probably either in the city, bickering over who's hogging the Sensoriums, or standing around wishing that they had something to do." She shrugs. "Or eating."

"I'm afraid that I have not." She pauses, tilting her head as she walks. "Or is that a good thing?" She can't quite tell, but sometimes people get tricky about those sorts of relationships.

"To be honest, though, I haven't exactly been trying to get out and meet with everyone. I figure it's best that I take things slowly, give everyone time to get used to things." She grins. "Some people tend to act oddly when they meet an android after being denied cake."

"That's a good thing. It's always less awkward when you have experience with these things." She turns the corner and nods. "It looks like your path from here to the dressing room is clear." She waves her hand, signaling for him to follow. It should be just a short walk away from here, or so she believes.

She watches him back away with an amused smile. Then she giggles, waves, and turns around to walk off. "I'll see you again some time, Cale Tucker. Have a good day. I hope your angry friend doesn't injure you when she sees you."
