"Fine!" a loud male voice with a noticeable Cajun accent echoed down the hallway of the ship. If one were to come around the corner, they would notice a tall, brown haired man with fiery red eyes, and wearing a brown duster of his plant uniform, standing in the middle of one of the ship's hallways, shouting at--the wall? Some may recognize and remember him. Other, not so much.

"Be dat way!" he continued to shout at the wall, pointing at it as if to emphasize his point. "Gambit dun want none of your cake anyway! You find somebody else's head to toy wit, 'cause Gambit done wit you!"

She flashed him a charming smile and once again turned her head a little to the side. "Oh, I'm sure we could." Her smile becomes almost teasing. "We could always meet up for a cup of tea."

"Gambit was tinking more along de lines of dinner, cher," he answered, taking a step forward and drawing a little closer. "A little wine, some candlelight, and mebbe someting sweet for dessert?"

"Perhaps something along those lines could be arranged," Inara replied almost vaguely. "Though I'm curious, what would you serve me for desert?"

"I like a great many things," Inara informed him with a sweet smile. "Though I've always been a fan of surprises."

Gambit seemed to consider her, and her response, for a moment before smiling again at her. "You trouble, you know dat?"

"I have no idea what you mean," Inara said, but by the twinkle that seemed to be in her eyes - she knew exactly what he meant.

He eyed her suspiciously for a moment, waiting for her to relent and just admit her 'crime.' When nothing came, it was he who relented and gave her yet another smile. "Dat ok. Gambit like a little trouble now and den."

She flashed him an overly innocent look. "Well then it's such a pity that I am sadly not trouble, Remy."

"I not so sure about dat, cher," Remy replied, unconvinced. "Dere someting about you dat just got 'trouble' written all over it."

"Oh really?" Inara's eyebrows arched a little and a playful pout formed on her lips. "And here I was thinking that 'kind-hearted', 'personable' and 'understanding' were."

"Dere dat, too," Gambit replied, his blazing red eyes still fixated on the woman in front of him. This place might not be so bad after all. No, not bad at all. "Mebbe later Gambit get to find out about all dose tings."
