Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing

The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.

The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.

[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

Haku considered the box carefully, then took it in his teeth. In an odd sight-blurring shift, he shrank and reared up, and very suddenly was just a boy holding a wrapped box. Solemnly, he tore off the paper, opened the box and blinked at the contents.

A miniature zen garden? What in the world? He couldn't help the taken aback, surprised expression, nor the puzzlement as he looked up at Static, "I have nothing to give in return."

"Please, if I wanted something in return, I would've told you I was bringing back a gift. It's the giving that matters. I mean, I know it's not a very good gift, but I kinda had limited options, and it seemed somehow fitting. Merry Christmas, man."

With a flick of his hand to say goodbye, Static was back in the air, moving onto his next target.

It was the 'dive-bomb, give 'em a gift, and run away' mentality that made it so much fun, really.

Haku blinked at the box in his hands, then up at Static's retreating back. No one had ever given him a gift. He looked back at the box.

And smiled.
