Rein was very hungry when the Meet and Greet had separated, and found her way to the cafeteria. Taking up a tray twice her size with considerable effort, she floated over, hoping to get something like a cherry tomato or maybe some pasta.

SPLORCH

Staring at the goop, she tentatively poked it. It had the consistency of jello mixed with gravy. "This is it? This is food desu?"

The device started to tear up. "This is food?! NOOOOOO DESU!"

Sadly, Rein floated her tray back to the table and poked it with a fork.

She could have sworn it moved.

"Well, I do have these tubes..." Thaddos halted and stared at Rein. "Would you by chance be interested in... upgrades?"

He hoped this one would respond favourably. So far his success rate had been nil.

"Upgrades?" inquired Rein curiously. "You mean Device Maintenance? I didn't think anyone had the technology here to give me regular scheduled maintenance desu."

"But I dunno. I'm made of magic so it'd be hard for me to be upgraded properly without the technology available at the TSAB," said Rein.

Thaddos sat down and glared. Very different from stared. Very important, that.

"I can not graft you with holy tech, little cherub. Flit away."

Rein pouted, picked up her things and sighed. "All right desu. I didn't mean to bother you."

Slurping down the rest of her goop, she floated over, put her dishes away and picked up her bag. "Nice meeting you though desu."
