I need a weapon.

The Master Chief, after some trial, error, and wandering, has managed to locate the "equipment locker room", as that strange girl called it. Or at least, he's pretty sure that's what this is if the STUFF lying around is anything to judge by.

He's busy roving along the front of the massive warehouse-like space, looking for his weapons and hopefully his armor. He's not aware of the fact it's locked away somewhere else with all the dangerous stuff, but he should be running across his guns and grenades soon.

Feel free to join him in the investigation.

"Communications Officer, Soundwave." he replied blankly.

"Inquire: sight or sound of a mechanical bird-like sentient being?" He asked while making a lingering scan around the area.

The communications officer, it seems, is the most terse of the three Decepticons John has met. Ironic.

The Spartan shakes his head. "Negative. I spoke with two other Decepticons, however. Names and designations unknown."

He's fluent in short-and-formal.

"Three-faced triplechanger is designated Blitzwing, and the flier is designation Starscream." He smoothly replied, and in a seemingly 'off' turn of his emotions, swerved to look around as if..

As if he was looking for something important.

Well, the Chief is too. He's not sure how much help he can be, or if he's particularly eager to see these things more armed than they already seem to be, but heck. They're all in the same boat.

Soundwave turned to look at the human. "I am looking for my guitar, Laserbeak." No matter how serious he can sound, his sentence seemed to be off, but technically, true.

Laserbeak, his condor--able to transform into an electric guitar...is his weapon.

A... guitar. The Chief raises his eyebrows. Okay, we're wandering out of bizarre into the truly surreal as far as he's concerned.

"I have not seen a guitar," he replies. "Sorry. I am looking for my own weapons."

As if on cue, a guitar hurtles past the Chief's head and falls with a clatter on the floor next to Soundwave, accompanied by an indignant squawk.
Apparently Blitzwing isn't too bothered by the fact that the guitar is a sentient being. Then again, this is someone who is currently ransacking the lockers looking for weapons.
Never mind, then.

Soundwave immediately picked up the guitar and gently strokes it at its sore spot. He glanced up and glared icily at the triplechanger. "Thank you." He sorely mumbled and looked at Laserbeak. It transformed immediately into a condor and perched itself on Soundwave's shoulder.

"That... is not a guitar."

Thankyou, Chief, we already knew that. He's mostly just happy that Soundwave didn't hit him with the... the not-guitar. The not-guitar-robot-bird-thing that he's trying not to stare at, but not having much luck.

I don't think his eyebrows are gonna be coming down any time soon.

"Master Chief." Soundwave addressed him as he gazed at the organic. "He transforms into one. Although smaller than your average guitar, but one nonetheless."

He looked at Laserbeak, as if giving it an inward signal. The condor squawked and transformed back into an electric guitar. Soundwave felt through the strings and strum a bit.

"I see. Is it normal for your ordnance to change shape?"

If they have technology like this, he has no doubt it's not limited to bird-guitars. Something like that could be very useful. He also has to wonder how it is controlled, but it isn't something he'd ask. The Chief likes to know what's going on around him technologically speaking, especially in strange places, but it's not his primary concern.

"Normal." He briefly answered. "I transform into a Scion xB. An organic-made car."

This human is curious. Strange, but curious. It's a wonder Soundwave...of all transformers, opens up to an organic. But he's all the more supposed to do it otherwise he wouldn't get the answers he needs. But at least for now, he has already found Laserbeak.

"Thank you for your services, Master Chief." He addresses in that monotonous tone and simply turns around, going to head for the Obs Deck.

"Hey, vait up!"
Blitzwing catches up to Soundwave with a very reluctant Starscream in tow (as well as holding a gun in his other hand), although the Seeker says nothing at the moment.
"C'mon Screamer, are you going to introduce yourself?" the triplechanger giggles.
