This place was weird. The whole place, really, though at the moment, Sumeragi's mind was a little more focused on her surrounds. The... bar? pub? - she wasn't quite sure which - looked like some sort of gimmicky theme place. A tourist attraction. But it had been the first place she found, and they had vodka shots on the list, even if it also had mead. Honestly, did anyone drink that stuff any more? Well, there had been that one Norwegian architect in San Francisco... But that was a long time ago, now.
Free drinks, though - that she could get behind. She'd downed three vodka shots in rather rapid succession - the last twenty-four hours had desperately called for the haze of a few drinks to dull the sharp edges - and was now nursing some sort of rather strong ale the bartender had poured her. Neil and Christina... she hadn't expected to see them again. Nobody expected to see the dead, really - much less those dead by your own hands. Even now, the guilt still hung over her. She tried to push the thoughts away, and took another long drag of the ale.

"Ifrit, can I have a ginger ale, please?" "~You can, but you said to remind you we were warned against teleportation spells. There's one about a mile east~" "Which way's east?" "~To your left. Wait, you're seriously going to walk a miles to get a ginger ale?~" "Sure. Why not? You can't give me any, right?" "~Not without a teleportation spell. You know I can't create.~" "So what can you still do? The Zap spells, right?" "~Do you have to call them that. But yes. Offensive spells, anything destructive except ... this would be a lot easier explain if you knew a damned thing about magic.~" "...You're right! I should learn more about magic! Maybe I can get lessons!" And scampering Alex goes.

Over the City, Marco was soaring overhead in osprey morph, looking down on the buildings below as he flew. Right now for Marco, things were looking pretty good. Jake was back. Cassie and Tobias were back. If it weren't for the fact that Rachel was still running mazes, they'd have had the whole gang back. He was pretty sure they soon enough they'd find themselves in the middle of another disaster (they always did), but for now, they were here, and they were alive.
He banked right, intending to fly on towards Cassie's house.

Aldrea didn't enjoy the feelings of claustrophobia several sections of the ship seemed to exude. Esplin didn't mind, but the idea of a Yeerk minding tight spaces was absurd in his mind. Yeerks not liking the sensations and capacity they expanded into while in a Host body, certainly. He didn't personally understand that, but he was at least aware that not every Yeerk enjoyed life beyond the pool.
He was, however, currently acting as an Andalite, and the tension she felt was something he displayed in subtle ways as he moved toward the sensorium containing this "Tapestry" he'd read about. The omnicomm's messages were interesting reading, and this Tapestry, paired with what he could find in the Media Library, was one of the things he'd decided he needed to see for himself.
He wasn't sure what he expected, but the reality of the Tapestry in the middle of so much white space was starkly different from anything he'd had in mind. For a moment, it was like reliving his first experience in a host, seeing again for the very first time.
This device could help guide them. If they were patient, and Esplin knew on some level he wasn't as patient as he used to be. There was some battle coming up that the crew on this ship was expected to fight in, if he wasn't all that concerned about that -- yet.
Moving toward the Tapestry, Aldrea nodded her head toward the very thing that seemed to fill the room with presence. Everything was meant to be recorded in here, wasn't it? Best to keep that in mind.
He greeted the Tapesty politely, one stalk eye focused on the entrance while the other tried following the patterns of the Tapestry itself. < Greetings, Tapestry. >

Before Nanaki finally visited Hydroponics, he wanted to check out the rest of the ship - mainly to make sure if he could find any other places that sounded as nice. The city hadn't been too bad; if anything, the park was peaceful enough. But just as he expected, nothing came close to the earthy, planety feeling that he sensed immediately upon entering Hydroponics. To him, everywhere else on Stacy, while tolerable, still felt like he was living inside the belly of an animal (which wasn't too far from his actual situation), which irritated and dried out his nose. He had to get used to this, he figured, but for now he wanted to sit and think, resting somewhere comfortably.
Before he did that, he took it upon himself to take a look around, moving, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, through the vast area. He spotted some of the wildlife, took note of the different sorts of trees and plants that lived there - some of them he'd never seen before, so every once in a while he would pause, taking a closer look at something.
He finally took refuge underneath a tree, stretching out and lying against the base. Silently, Nanaki watched the others passing through, wondering how those he'd met so far were faring on their new "home."
