A Few Observations for the Good of the Service [Closed to Team November]

Javert was waiting patiently in a large, open field. There's an ominous promise of physical activity in the air. This is the sort of area that carries the foreboding feeling of target practice, exercise, physical drills, wall climbing, and other unfortunate things.

Equally ominous is the fact that Javert appears to be smiling.

Gavroche ran into the sensoriums, and into the fields in that awkward way that all small children run, heels up in the air, his cap tugged firmly onto his head. They were going to do something and so was he. Besides, if he could train, then he could fight!

Not even the sight of the smiling inspector showed to down his enthusiasm.

"I am ready Inspector Javert!" Yes, that was even a little salute.

Wyn doesn't usually think of fields as ominous, but this one certainly qualifies. 'Team-building exercise' is mostly a euphemism for 'highly unpleasant things Wyn does not want to do ever', and her suspicions are compounded by the fact that Javert is smiling.

"Um. Hi." Wyn says, giving the field a very skeptical look. No matter what happens next, she's sure she won't like it.

Bella arrives. She's picked up a new pod suit since fighting with the zombies, she's gotten used to it in spite of herself. She speaks around her smaller axe, which she is again carrying around in her teeth.

"...ohgaia he's smiling. We're all screwed, aren't we?"

Javert frowned slightly at the turn out; but then, not everyone checked their strange messaging devices at all times, least of all him. He would simply have to work with what he was given. Which was, he muttered lowly to himself, "Not much. Not much at all."

He straightened abruptly and eyed all of them. "This team is, as of now, a fairly un-cohesive catastrophe. To-day we will be working on finding some way of remedying this issue."

"Uh, just like to point out we haven't actually had to work together yet, so you don't have proof we're an uncohesive mess."

Bella snuffs. "But we have not done anything together yet so there is no way to say that we can," she counters.

Yeah Wags, your Ahroun is a teacher's pet. Whaddya gonna do?

"Without having done anything, I'd assume first that nothing can be done." Guilty until proven innocent, that's Javert's philosophy.
