Batter Up [open]
Fitz stood in the Sensoriums, gripping a cricket bat, and he just kept breaking things.
Smash
That was his flat.
Smash
The little building where they'd kept his mum.
Smash
That little pub he liked to drink at.
Smash
That was London.
Smash
Earth.
Smash
Espero.
Smash
Gallifrey.
There was no more Gallifrey. No more Doctor.
Well, that was it. He refused to believe it. There was no existence without the Doctor. The Doctor would come, and the Doctor would fix everything. The Doctor always fixed everything and where was he? He was supposed to be here. He was always supposed to be here!
Fitz threw the bat past the disappearing shards of vases, televisions, broken guitars.
A cosmos without the Doctor? Hardly bearable to think about.

And a place to come and break his hand punching people. But this... someone just destroying things? This was new.
"Um, hi?" Terry called out, a little wary of all the shards of, well, everything all over the ground.

"Sorry, figured it was empty."
Fitz kicked a broken radio lightly. "Never heard of breaking stuff for therapy, or whatever?"
no subject
Terry looking around at all the damage, gently pushing a broken tv away.
"Actually," he couldn't help but grin a bit, "I'm pretty good at breaking stuff for therapy. And beating stuff up." He was a troubled youth, after all.

Arha paused, staring at the man for a long moment and then at the things around her. A moment later and she closed gentle fingers loosely around his arm.
"Hope is not lost," she murmured, turning her blue-within-blue eyes onto his own. "It is not lost."

"I am sorry the things and people you love are gone. I would give them back to you right now if I could, but all I can offer is company and my own hope. These you may have, if you wish them."

"I am called Arha," she said, folding her hands across her lap as she caught sight of something relatively familiar. "There is a broken stringed instrument over there. Do you play or was that simply for smashing? I have, in my time, played such a thing and others, as well."

"Fitz? What are ye..." He breaks off, belatedly noticing the mess. "Oh."

He hadn't meant to be so obvious with his noise. He'd just wanted to vent his temper on not-real things.

Still, he has to ask, "Any reason, though, why ye are smashing things?" There's a few, but Jamie thinks he might have an idea which it might be.

"I mean, why save /us/ if she didn't save him?" Because that would make no sense at all, in Jamie's mind.

Something prods at the back of Fitz's mind, but it's gone before he can follow it. "It just doesn't feel right."

Sheik has been watching from one side, unnoticed in the shadows, curiously watching Fitz destroying anything he can get his hands on. Now that he's stopped, he's deemed it safe to reveal himself.
Especially with that bat far away.
