Mal didn't say anything more about that, because he didn't want to be responsible in case unforeseen consequences arose from talking too much. He hadn't spoken about it to anyone, but part of him still suspected there was some Alliance involvement; whether that was irrational of him or not, he wasn't sure. Maybe he'd just spent too long running away from the long arm of the government.

As it was, unless Jo asked him directly, he wasn't about to volunteer more information on that subject.
