Building a family [hella open]

 Slobo had been puttering around the ship for an hour, thinking and looking. He quickly found that if you looked hard enough, between W&P and the City itself, you could find anything. In the end, he was standing outside a Courtyard by Marriott hotel about a click outside of "Escherville" with spraypaint and a very large block of stone. At first he had thought about the Vatican, but it was too wrecked from the zombie fight. Plus, this place had an indoor pool. He spraypainted a large message on the wall next to the door, red with black outline.

FIELD TRAINING

PEER COUNSELING" 

 

On the sandwich board tucked near the door, he wrote "12-21? Info and Tryouts inside" and left it out in front. Now, he took his large rock into the lobby and began carving. And waited.

"Oh, yeah! I'm her older brother. I'm Sokka, by the way. Not sure if I introduced myself." He shifted his shoulder, adjusting the straps of his sword's scabbard and the shotgun on one shoulder. He smiled and offered the other boy his hand.

Slobo took it and smiled.

"Slobo, Top Teen and Fragmaster Extraordinaire. Feel free ta grab a room and talk ta Static, he's kinda the team leader, I just started this mess."

"I can have any room I want?" He blinks and looks around the vast hotel.

"This is a fancy place, too..."

"Well, me and Static called dibs on the two nicer suites on the top floor, cause we were here first. So any room that ain't called. And I'll be breakin' the door ta the pool as soon as I'm done the statue."

"I want one of the fancy suites too!" He immediately makes a beeline for the stairs in order to investigate the remaining rooms.

"And don't open the pool without meeee_eeeee..." His voice fades as he bursts through the stairwell door and disappears.
