Building a family [hella open]
Slobo had been puttering around the ship for an hour, thinking and looking. He quickly found that if you looked hard enough, between W&P and the City itself, you could find anything. In the end, he was standing outside a Courtyard by Marriott hotel about a click outside of "Escherville" with spraypaint and a very large block of stone. At first he had thought about the Vatican, but it was too wrecked from the zombie fight. Plus, this place had an indoor pool. He spraypainted a large message on the wall next to the door, red with black outline.
"OUTSIDERS
COMMUNITY SERVICE
FIELD TRAINING
COMMUNITY SERVICE
FIELD TRAINING
PEER COUNSELING"
On the sandwich board tucked near the door, he wrote "12-21? Info and Tryouts inside" and left it out in front. Now, he took his large rock into the lobby and began carving. And waited.

Well, that aside, Katara looked more than a little shocked, giving the place a look over.
"A team, like, your own team? What kind of team? Why?"

"We're gonna train tagether, hang tagether, get ta know eachother... For the general good o' the ship and multiverse." He paused. "And if we have ta, keep people in line."
no subject
Most of it, anyway.
"What do you mean 'keep people in line?' How?"
no subject
"Preferably without takin' sides unless it's REALLY obvious who's in the right. Like, if Lex wants ta blow up the ship, then we ain't on his side, obviously..."

He was gonna say dead; he was. But even Static wasn't stupid enough to say that after what just happened.

She looked contemplative, but it was really only for show: this sounded like a good idea. It was one thing to work individually, but together, who knew what could be accomplished? And it was a TEAM- something she missed more than she'd anticipated. It was okay that Sokka and Zuko were here of course, but she also wanted the team feeling again.
"Well I think this is a good idea. Count me in. But speaking of Lex..." Katara's voice trailed off. "I'm sure we need to watch him. But I'm also concerned about Kon too."

He stretched his shoulders a bit; the team was barely formed, but after what Batman had said, Static felt a much bigger weight on himself then he probably should. "Welcome to the team, Kat."

Katara blinked. "Thanks! I'm happy to join."
Kat. It was weird somehow.
