Alright, those spears are getting to be a problem. Abandoning his attempt at jamming the wall mechanisms, Sheik reaches out as one of the spears shoots upwards, grabs the shaft at its highest point, and pulls hard - it doesn't break, but it does bend far enough that it can't be retracted again.

And a motionless obstacle is certainly more ideal than one shooting up without warning.
