the tech knight returns
Terry didn't really understand how he had wound up running around weird mazes in his own head while being watched by an AI. But he was out of it now. And he was done with moping around in a fake Bat-cave. He'd been hiding and feeling sorry for himself since the yeerks. After running around in GLaDOS's mazes, though, he'd realized that he need to just get over himself.
So he was training. The Sensorium had created a Gotham street. His Gotham. And he was doing what he normally did on an average night - cleaning up the streets. He was currently hunting a group of Jokerz, but in without the Batsuit. He needed the practice of tracking and fighting without his suit. It was becoming to much like a crush.
He wouldn't mind some company. He needed some practice working with teams, too.

"Wicked deeds such as this cannot go unpunished! Ordained by providence, Ikenami Ryuunosuke will stop you!" He adjusted his stance, readying a swing. "Going forth!"

He abandoned his careful stalking-distance, running into the fray, ready the fight. He had already thrown some punches when he noticed the only other guy in the fight that wasn't a Joker. Some Asian guy using a pipe.
Well, that was new.

And their facepaint was completely amateurish. He could apply better in his sleep.
He struck a pose, standing back to back with the newcomer. "Surrender now and spare yourselves further punishment at the hands of justice!" He held the
swordpipe aloft, at the ready.no subject
"Are you brain damaged or something?"
no subject
"Damaged? No! These villains have not struck me! And their assault on this innocent woman will not be tolerated!" He nodded towards the, unbeknownst to him, artificial civilian, before charging at the Jokerz again.

"Hey kid, how's it going?" Owen called out to Terry (quietly) as he came out from an alleyway, keeping pace with him.

"So... long range target practice, or up close? Kid's choice." He smirks challengingly, tossing Terry a spare boomerang. Just standard ones for them both for now.
no subject
He took the boomerang, eying it. "Kinda primitive, isn't it?" he said sarcastically. The "boomerangs" he was used to were spring loaded and could shoot out of the arms of his suit... not to mention emit an electrical charge and remote-detonate.

Owen had plenty of gadgetry, but he'd still handled that prison riot at Iron Heights just fine with scraps he'd picked up. "I've got plenty of other stuff too, but let's work our way up." He smiled, sighting a target in the distance. "Red hair, purple jacket. Want to go for nailing him on the forward or return trip?" He raised the boomerang in his hand.

Looks like someone beat you to it, Terry.

He straightened and peered into the window. He kept his distance, just in case any more clowns came flying out, but he was close enough to see what was happening. Someone was horning in on his patrol, and he wanted to know who that was.
no subject
Whoever he is, he's clearly smart. And fast, too, since there's already someone else screaming further down the street.

Terry jogged in the direction of the sound, keeping to the shadows. He was curious as to who this person terrorizing Jokerz was, but he was still going to be careful. He knew the gangs well enough - a few might have gotten away from the mystery person, and if they did, they just might want to take out their fear on anyone they come across. With their fists.
no subject
Not that he needs help or anything, but there are rather a lot of them...

One of the Jokerz seemed to be making one last, desperate move though - a rather cowardly attempt to ambush this mystery-fighter from behind. Terry noticed it, though, and leapt into action, tackling the clown and pining him to the ground. A few strong punches to the head, and the gangster was out like a light.
"As my boss would say," Terry called out to the stranger with a sarcastic grin as he climbed back to his feet, "you ought'a watch your back."
