Newbie Meet N' Greet

Meet n' Greet, smell my feet, gimme something good to eat! Unfortunately, the newbie meet and greet takes place the same time the command staff is congregating, so they might be a little late to the party.

But the crew is there to welcome the newcomers and explain their situation. At the end of the milling and spilling about, the command staff is going to start a general meeting to apprise everyone of their situation and discuss their next course of action:

Getting off the damn ship.

She approached him quietly, her eyes confused and filled with questions. She slung her bright red scythe across her back, noting the change in his expression. The way he held himself, the way his eyes didn't brood in that one specific way...

She stopped short of him and looked up.

He didn't even smell like him...

He looked exactly like him...but that was it. She knew it. Because she would know him anywhere.

"And here I was worried that I was gonna have to make with the cookie dough speech again. Or, you know, I might have switched it up. Brownie batter's fun. But you're not him. It's weird, though. You look just like him. Except for where you're not pale and kinda obviously of the living and breathing."

"I got something like this right after I arrived. There's a guy named Xander here somewhere." said Booth. "I'm FBI special agent Seeley Booth. I'm actually curious to meet this other guy, if he looks so much like me."

"Yeah. Xander. He's...one of my best friends," Buffy replied, thankful that she wasn't the only one to mistake him for Angel.

Although, okay, she wondered how Xander's reaction would've been. He wasn't known for his Angel-love, having once told Buffy to kick his ass.

"Seeley Booth," she said off-handedly. "Interesting name. He's - Angel - he's...a nice guy. You know, until you make with the happiness making. Then he's kind of...not so nice."
