Rock Band, Anyone? [open like an open thing]

Wyn is… well, to be perfectly honest, she's kind of bored. The civil war didn't affect her much, except for the minor fact that she chose the wrong day to start field-testing in the City. School hadn't started yet-- she didn't think, at least. (She really hoped it hadn't; that would be awkward, to say the least.) So, she chose to do one of the few things guaranteed to keep her occupied for an hour or two.

Video games. She sits on a threadbare denim couch in an eerily-perfect replica of the Pierce Hall sitting room, fiddling with the microphone stand with a plastic guitar slung across her back. The door to the room itself is almost closed, but there's a note pinned to the door inviting people inside.

Come on, guys, Rock Band's no fun alone…

[ooc: If we could keep it to one giant party thread that would be amazingly fantastic.]

The city was great, really it was and it had some great places to make out in but Cassie needed something else. And eventually she got Jonas to take her to the Sensoriums. Now she just needed to figure out what to do and-

Oh hey, a note.

Oh hey, a person inside.

"Hey."

Jonas figured that, as long as she had an escort to make sure she did not pull up her father again, letting her use the Sensoriums would be okay.

He reads the note and then peeks inside. "[Ah, hello. I assume you are the author of this note?]"

Well, it would give him some more time to narrow down his plans for a date...

Indy still did not like the meatship. Indy was also still hatless. These reasons made Indy grumpy (Well, more grumpy).

Something odd was going on in the Sensoriums when Indy walked past. Well, then again about ninety-eight percent of the things on the meatship were new and strange to this simple archaeologist. He read the note and poked his head in, just enough to see what was going on.

However, whatever they were doing interesting as it may have been, did not compel the professor to stay and join them. He'll need a bit of persuasion...

There's already a new contestant ushering him in, a bowl of sensoriumed nachos under his arm, "Come on, pal. These guys need a dashing frontman."

What is it with the Kilos, could they smell a vidya game tournament or something?

There is also... a bird entering?

It is a large bird, at least, almost the size of a child, with keen black eyes and wearing a harness of sleek metal strapping. And there's something kind of funny about those wings...

"This is great. I haven't played a video game in I don't know how long."

Hey now Wyn, Jonas totally counts as people! Just because he's a set of brain patterns copied into a ridiculously advanced suit of armor did not make him not people!

He followed Cassie into the room, greeting Spider-Man with a nod.

"[Er, 'front man'?]" he repeated. "[What video game are we playing?]"

If Cassie wanted to play video games, then video games they would play.

"Y'know, the guy who looks pretty at the front. This guy's kinda got a Jim Morrison look going on. Minus the hair, natch," he plants the nachos in front of the row of chairs and claps his hands together, "So, who's gonna resent me if I suggest we play Monster Mash?"

[identity profile] prof-indiana.livejournal.com 2009-09-27 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Indy gives her a "seriously?" look before taking the plastic guitar. He's pretty much expecting this to be the most ridiculous thing he's ever done.

[personal profile] stickyboots 2009-09-27 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"Rock Lobster?"

[identity profile] vision-ya.livejournal.com 2009-09-27 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"[I am partial to the Beatles,]" Jonas said, inspecting the other plastic instruments. Jim Morrison huh, Spidey?

"When it's my turn I'm so playing Monster Mash." Cassie teased.

"Don't you have any Ilham Al Madfai?" the large crow asks as he hops up onto a couch, shuffling over in that waddly bird-walk to get a better view. He does take a moment to peer more closely over at Jonas and Cassie, though.

"Keep it simple? Guns n' Roses?" Peter asks, currently clothed courtesy of the sensoriums in a pair of leather chaps, an afro and a top hat.

"Hey, Rock Band!" Booth comments. He doesn't really have that much free time on Earth, but he does get quite a bit of Wii time with Parker. Although it's a bit saddening that his seven year old can beat him most of the time...And now he was sad that he couldn't be with Parker right now. Mentally, he cursed Stacy out again.

[identity profile] vision-ya.livejournal.com 2009-10-01 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
Jonas was almost too busy looking at Spider-Man to acknowledge Booth's entrance. He does nod to the FBI agent, though.

"[Perhaps we should have something selected at random?]" he suggested. Or else he'd sneak in pick something Cassie liked.

[identity profile] sexygman.livejournal.com 2009-10-03 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Booth waits quietly, thinking that Parker would be amazed to find out he met Spiderman. Not that he could really say much, no one likes someon talking about how they're fictional somewhere. So, he just waits until he can jump in and join them.

As entertaining as watching Spider-Man and Indiana Jones play Rock Band, after a while Cassie had a better idea. "Jonas, come here." Like dragging Jonas by the hand to another room for... yeah.

What? Was it a crime to make out?

[identity profile] vision-ya.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
No. No, it certainly was not!

Jonas followed Cassie into the next room, hoping that everyone else was too absorbed in the game to either object or follow them.

[personal profile] staturity 2009-10-05 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Please, who would follow them when they had Indiana Jones and Spider-Man to laugh at?

Snogging was so go.

[identity profile] aloftierview.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe they won't notice the crow peeking around the corner at them.
staturity: (let's snog)

[personal profile] staturity 2009-10-05 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Cassie certainly didn't, so intent was she on kissing her boyfriend.

You know what she really love about having a robotic boyfriend? Him not having to breathe.

[identity profile] vision-ya.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Jonas didn't notice either; he was rather absorbed in the whole "making out with Cassie" process.

Because, really? It was pretty awesome.
