Naptime [OPEN]

Even Smashers needed sleep, and Pikachu was no different. The small electric mouse was curled into a ball on one of the bench/couches on the Observation Deck, and a gentle hum could be heard from the Pokemon as he snoozed. Occasionally his tail twitched and his cheeks sparked, as though fighting in his sleep, but nothing major came from it, and Pikachu continued to sleep happily, eagerly accepting the first full sleep he'd had since arriving on the ship.

He couldn't bring himself to sleep in those holes in Stacy, not with the way they looked. Never mind the claustrophobic sensation of being confined; Pikachu just didn't want to chance being slimed again. This way was much easier, and more enjoyable as well. Grinning in his sleep, Pikachu rolled partly on to his back, his body still curled in on itself.

"Chaaa," he sighed, sinking deeper into his enjoyably restful slumber.

So . . . cute!

Will hates to disturb the little thing's sleep, but it's so adorable, she can't help hovering for just a moment. Little cuddly things are so adorable when they're dreaming, all twitchy and cute.

Pikachu was out like a light, but he was still a light sleeper, and his eyes lazily opened, taking in the sight of the young girl. Seeing nothing especially harmful or threatening about her, Pikachu yawned in reply to her hovering and went back to napping.

"Awwwwww!"

The adorableness was just too much. Will reached out a hand and started lightly scratching the little yellow creature behind the ears. She didn't want to disturb its nap, but if it liked the scratching, she'd just keep doing it.

That woke him up. He hardly minded, however, and cheerfully accepted the scratches, even going so far as to lean his head up into them, his tail twitching lightly in pleasure. "Piika pika," he said, looking up at the young girl, getting a better look at her than he had while half asleep. He deemed her satisfactory and most definitely not a threat.

"Pika!" he continued, sitting up and looking at her.

"Could you get any cuter?" Will asks, rooting around for the sweet spot. Yeah, that's the one! "Hello, I'm Will."

"Pi pikachu!" the pokemon replied, grinning into the scratching. He was quite enjoying the attention. For once, it seemed like not being understood by anyone else wasn't such a problem.

"Pikachu, huh?"

Was that its species, or its name?

"It's nice to meet you, Pikachu."

"Pika pika!" he said in return, quite cheerful about the whole encounter. It helped to have someone to lift his spirits, after the conversation he'd had with Samus on the omnicom's network.
