(no subject)

Wags had decided to stay out of the fight entirely, need to follow the laws and follow the popular vote trumping wanting the Yeerk dead. He was presently sitting somewhere on the ship, guitar in hand, and singing his Garou heart out.

"Oh! Darling, please believe me
I'll never do you no harm
Believe me when I tell you
I'll never do you no harm

Oh! Darling, if you leave me
I'll never make it alone
Believe me when I beg you
Don't ever leave me alone

When you told me you didn't need me anymore
Well you know I nearly broke down and cried
When you told me you didn't need me anymore
Well you know I nearly fell down and died

Oh! Darling, if you leave me
I'll never make it alone
Believe me when I tell you
I'll never do you no harm

When you told me you didn't need me anymore
Well you know I nearly fell down and cried
When you told me you didn't need me anymore
Well you know I nearly fell down and died

Oh! Darling, please believe me
I'll never let you down
Believe me when I tell you
I'll never do you no harm"

"Oh, I like that song." Otacon remarked with a smile, pausing as he walked by. The people he had met on the ship so far had been quite friendly; he was interested to see what other kinds of people were around and where they might have come from.

"You're really good with that guitar, too."

"Really? Well...you are really good at it. Heck, wish I could do that." Otacon rubbed the back of his neck, clearly a little embarassed.

"I'm Hal, by the way. Dr. Hal Emmerich."

"Nice to meet y--wait, werewolves?" The sentence only really sank in halfway through Otacon's own responce.

"There's...werewolves around here?"

"I'm...actually not sure if that's surprising." He reached up and adjusted his glasses with a slight smile. "Maybe a little unsettling, but not surprising."

"Really? That's..." Unusual? Unexpected? Weird?

"...that's actually kind of cool."

Angua on the other hand would have probably been helpful in the fight downstairs, if she had any idea what was going on. She had been spending her time getting to know the layout of the ship-- how each part was set up, how it smelled, and how to find her way around in either form. Some of the crew members might have reported a large yellow dog wandering around.

She recognized Wags by scent as she walked by, and paused to watch him playing for a few seconds.

"Hello. Wags, was it?" she said after a moment. "I see you play music-with-rocks-in."

Angua liked music-with-rocks-in pretty well too. It was a nice contrast from the music of her home nation, which mostly involved organ solos.

"It's nice," she said a bit distractedly, then glanced down the hall. "I hope you have been well?"

"It's meat but it's not. It's alive but it isn't. I've been trying to figure it out and I really just don't care much for it, I've found," she said with a bit of a sigh.

Adam watched for a few minutes, once the young man was done, he walked over tentatively. "Beatles, right?"

[identity profile] imma-frog.livejournal.com 2009-09-18 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Adam gave a small grin. "Cool. How long have you been playing?"

[identity profile] imma-frog.livejournal.com 2009-09-18 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
So that made him 15. Adam nodded, "Took me a bit longer to pick up the guitar, but I'm glad I did."

"That's... that's really cool," Adam replied. And sad, but he always appreciated people who respected their parents like that. "I just taught myself. My parents don't really like that I am getting into music so much. Or art in general."

"...that's quite the name," Adam grinned. "I'm Adam Park. Closet musician and martial artist."
