He's a Bat, where else would he be? [Open]

Sitting on one of the rooftops, looking out over the city, was none other than Jason Todd. Clad in his plant suit, leather jacket, and red domino mask. His gun was stashed in his coat pocket and his knife, well his knife was hidden. He didn't exactly know what to do in this place. He could go and locate Tim and mess with him some more, but that would get old fast. He didn't want to grow tired of messing with the kid.

He could get out and be social, but that went against everything he was. He didn't go out and make friends. There was no point, and no one here seemed to be of any interest to him anyways. Plus if one of them pissed him off and he was forced too... The tentacles from his first day here sprang to mind and he shivered. He hated tentacles. So getting pissed and beating anyone up was out of the question. At least in a place where the bitch would see him.

He growls a bit and kicked a piece of stone off of the rooftop and watched it fall to the ground. This was stupid. Why the hell would this ship bring him here, if he couldn't do anything? He'd rather be fucking dead! Well.. not dead. But at least back home he could have had a chance of..

He shook his head. He wasn't going to think about home right now. Too much had happened, he wanted to forget it all. The plan to take back Gotham as the Batman had failed, badly. It was time to move on. Make a new plan. He just had to figure out what the hell that plan was going to be, then how he was going to go about it.

It was going to be a long night... day... whatever.

Speaking of bitches, one had been tailing Jason for a bit since catching sight of him. Mia remembered their run in just fine. Freakshow had orchestrated stuff to corral her beautifully, and gotten in her head. The fact that the poison he'd been spewing had been fairly on target only made it worse. It was time for...

Well? What did she want with him? It's not as if she was willing to kill. Not even a rat-bastard like Jason.

For now, a flash-bang arrow landing between his legs would do fine. She loosed the shot, running after it to reach his position now that she was dispensing with stealth.

"Glad you remember. I'd feel bad about kicking your ass otherwise." Mia launched another volley over his shoulder, it clattering to the ground behind him, as she lined up a bola arrow for her next shot.

The arrow that had gone behind him had actually been a glue bomb arrow. Hopefully he'd duck back from the next draw and step into it's payload.

Mia dodged as one of the bullets grazed her bowstring, but didn't damage it. She glared. "Neither do I. Kevlar carbon mix. Took me two weeks to build enough extra muscle-tone for the pull." She strung it over her back quickly as she rushed forward, making an open-palmed thrust for his kidneys.

Let me show you, freakface. I don't need the bow for you.

He'd been on his way from the precinct to the lab when he'd heard the loud 'bang' followed by that familiar sound. Gunfire. Robert hurried towards the sound, unslinging his rifle as he went, holding it a 'ready' position. He paused as he reached where he thought the shot had come from...and heard a voice. He glanced upwards.

Great. I get to climb buildings. He scurried around the side of the building and began the long climb up the fire escape.

Mia hesitated for just a split-second as the knife flashed into play, ducking back.

No. If you let him scare you, you'll lose. It's just another weapon. It doesn't matter if you get cut a little. You're not dirty anymore. There's no-one around you need to worry about.

"Oh you already know I'm full of 'tricks'. I've made guesses about how many you knew when you were on the street." Good, keep a step ahead of his head-games. He likes to talk, but so does she.

She moved forward as he was descending, remembering the closing exchanges of their first and only fight. One fist extended for his wrist, angling her arm to only present the outside of her forearm. Keep the major vessels and tendons protected. Her other hand tapped the ground as she crouched, steadying her, and preparing to reach up and seize the knife if she succeeded in the disarm attempt.

So you beat him, and then what? What's that accomplish?

Shut up!

Robert huffed quietly as he clambered higher and higher, the sounds of the fighting reaching him, as well as the angry voices. He was really getting far too old for this kind of thing. That's why he'd left the force, right?

No, you left the force because your wife left you. The little voice in the back of his head began, but he shut it down, ignoring it as he reached the edge of the roof and peeked over. He'd left the rifle at the bottom. Too clumsy. Great, too of those young kids, probably the super hero types, going at it. He put a hand on the butt of his revolver and hauled himself up onto the roof, trying not to look too winded.

"What the hell is going on here?"

Mia wanted to run after him, to charge right over the ledge after his dropping form. But no, that was stupid. He'd dropped on his own terms, and her line of sight had been broken. She wouldn't charge headfirst into an ambush. She'd run him down again, in time.

There was another body here anyway, and she wouldn't put it past Hood to drag in a hostage. She gave him a glance after she checked herself over. A few nicks, but no wounds.

"Nothing to worry about. Just some unfinished business between sidekicks." Mia muttered. She advanced carefully towards the opposite side of the roof that Hood had dropped off of, gathering up the stray arrow components, mentally ticking off what she'd need to remake them.
