Now, this was just terrific. Kurt had just been awakened in a strange place, had barely gotten dressed, and was still trying to pick odd bits of dried gunk off any bit of visible skin. Luckily, the suit he'd been fashioned with was customized, and it was actually absurdly comfortable, if one could ignore that weird, living pulse.
He was going to try very, very much to forget about it. There were other things to occupy his mind.
First of all, his things, whatever Stacy had deemed appropriate to take with him. Hopefully, his 'watch' was in there. not that he needed to know what time it was, but because it would hide his more startling features. The idea of strangers getting a glimpse of him like this was enough to make his mouth dry. Reactions from people he didn't know were usually pretty unfavorable.
Cautiously, he had stepped out of the lift, looking for the locker room. Everything looked somewhat the same, the halls all having that strange, living texture. Despite his nerves, he didn't dare try to teleport in here yet, lest he get stuck in some other hell-dimension. He was keeping himself as low to the ground as possible, not a problem given his unusual build, and trying to just not draw anybody's attention. Yet.

The poor fellow seemed cold, though. Perhaps ill. Maybe it was none of his business. "How long have you been here? Wherever here is, really."

"It's a ship. Like, spaceship. A really big one."

Though his hopes were somewhat dashed when Chris said the word 'spaceship.' "So it is an alien city? Inside a spaceship?" Oh, was he ever confused. Still, as a child of late-night movies, he was ready to accept this place as utterly out of his world. "Oh, man." Almost a grumble. "What am I doing in outer space?" And he was ready to call some of his team-mates space cases.

"There's a city, but there's a lot of other stuff too. It's all layered up - I'd bet anything that most of it doesn't really fit, it's just lifted from different places like all the people are."

A bunch of random buildings, random people, and none of it made a bit of sense. For a moment, his head and shoulders lowered in a dejected posture. "Right. So, uh, how many people are we talking about? Do you suppose abduction stories are true, or something?" It was enough to make his hair stand on end. All of it.

"Scary." Understatement of the year, there.

"Well, you are talking to one such type, ja? Is that such a bad thing?" Kurt was on guard again, his wording careful. If worst came to worst? Well, he'd just book it and hope for the best.

"I do suppose you have a point. If it is easy for them to take certain superhumans.. Still, I do not recall being taken by force, and pretty much everyone has to sleep sometime." Still, it tickled unpleasantly at the brain. What sort of creature were they really dealing with?

Knowing enough about him. And illness. That explained the coolness, how skinny the poor guy was, and Kurt's expression had turned almost worried. Not pitying, not quite, but concerned. "Are you going to be alright here?" Maybe there was a medical wing of some kind or another..

"Oh. Uhm." The tail flicked in agitation. "Genetic, then? I get you." Now Kurt was figuring the guy was just one more mutant. "At least we are indoors, so you are safe enough. I have to admit, I have never been sunburned." He had a layer of fuzz protecting him, after all.
