Just need a little stardust to feel all right, baby... [closed]
There is a clandestine transaction going on near the Media Library.
"It's just... I don't feel right without it, y'know? Like everything's wrong inside. I get all weak. Shaky."
It's a sad, sad thing when someone becomes a slave to some outside force, has to rely on it for their strength.
"I just--I just need a little of the white stuff..."
Oh, to be brought down this low, to have to rely on someone else for this, but this ship doesn't let him have access to enough of what he needs, so he had to find someone else to provide it. Originally he'd seen her only every so often, but now he's weak, in withdrawal, he's a slave to it, reliant on her to function as he's been functioning.
"Just one more hit? To hold me for the week? That's all I need, I swear. Just one hit. I promise I won't bug you for it again this week."

Will sighs with regret. She never liked this part of Guardianship, having to make these kinds of big judgement calls for other people.
"This is your third time this week. Maybe you've had a little too much.

"Okay. Let's . . . let's go find a place."

So when he finally heard voices, his face broke into a smile and he darted towards them. But he stopped short when he heard the conversation. It really couldn't be what he thought it was... right? Sure back in New York it wouldn't be as unreal, but here? It just seemed so out of place.
Who'd need drugs here?
He peeked around the corner and blinked. He didn't know either of them, but knew they couldn't be any older than him. Which made this worse. So worse.
"Um..." His voice was soft, and he covered his mouth instintly. He didn't want them to hear or see him! What was he supposed to do? Walk up and tell them 'Drugs are bad mm'kay?' The one guy looked about Teddy's build size, which probably meant he could crush Billy's head with his pinkie.
Wonderful.

C'mon, Billy, a drug deal is a drug deal--you're a superhero, right? Aren't you supposed to do something about it?

He stepped out from the corner and closes his eyes for a moment. When they open again, they're glowing.
"IwanttoboxtheminIwanttoboxthemin." His spell said, he smiled as a blue box appeared around the two people. He stepped closer and tapped the box, watching as the magic waved like water. "Neat."

"Hey, what's goin' on?!" comes Kon's voice from inside the box.

The light flashes out suddenly. Beyond the box, Will looks a little unsteady, and has lifted a hand to her temple, her other hand extended, supporting a small crystal bauble, the power levels of which are off the charts.
She looks up and spots Billy, or rather, the box between her and Billy.
"Um, excuse me?" she sounds more confused than guilty. "What are you doing?"

no subject
"Not going to work. You think I wouldn't have made sure someone with super strength couldn't break it? Please. I'm not an idiot." He looked beyond the box to Will and narrowed his yes.
"Funny, I was just going to ask what you two were doing. Because I like the good side of people, I'm giving you a chance to explain why you're dealing drugs on this ship. Especially sense there are little kids who could be near by." At this point he's sparking a bit. Kinda getting a bit irritated.

Then she gestures to the Heart.
"This is starlight! And I AM a little kid!"

Kon, who is shirtless, by the way, sits back down on the floor, picks up his little tanning foil, and dons his sunglasses again.
"You're kinda getting in the way of me catchin' some rays, whoever-you-are."
no subject
"Wait... but he... What!?" He was so confused now. He rubbed at the back of his head and frowned. "The way you were going on, it sounded like... Oh man.. I thought you were dealing drugs or something."
no subject
She looks awkward. She doesn't like the idea of being mistaken for a drug dealer. It seems so . . . skeevy.

He grimaces lightly. "Having your powers sun-based in deep space kinda sucks. Every week or so I run down and go all average Joe if I don't get a recharge--and also feel like crap, comparatively, even if it's not really harmful for me to be sapped--but Will's been majorly with the helpful. I keep kicking the engineers to rig me up some sun lamps, but they're pretty busy doing important stuff."
no subject
"I'm really sorry about this. God.. I feel so stupid. I guess I should have, just stayed out of it." His blush was back, even if his curiosity was getting the best of him.
"So.. you need star radiation for your powers? Any kind of star, or is it a specific one? Like the Earth's sun? Because there are a lot of stars.. not all of them are like the Earth's sun." His blush grew brighter. "Sorry, I'm a bit of a geek at times."
no subject
And...he's not going to advertise that a red sun will deprive him of his powers, kthx. Sorry, Billy, he doesn't know you.
no subject
"Sorry about everything... um.. I'm Billy." He felt like a complete idiot for jumping to conclusions like this one.
