The Gathering [Closed to Team Sierra]

Despite yesterday's strange turn of events, Katara was upbeat about the meeting at the Statuary. All in all, it was a rather relaxing place, and Katara thought it would be perfect for getting to know her teammates. She made sure she adjusted the communicator for Kazuki on one of the nearby statues. He wouldn't need it now, but she still wanted it there since she and Allen worked so hard on it. She only hoped that Julian didn't mind that she had arranged all of this, since he was their team leader. Of course, Katara knew full well that she was the type to get like this, but the others didn't. She hoped it wasn't too jarring.

And she hoped Sokka wasn't late.

The statues were unrecognizeable to her, and as far as she was concerned, that was a good thing. Seeing all of the past Avatar statues, not to mention a grown up Aang, had been a little too daunting for her taste. She waited, and made sure she sent out a reminder to all of her teammates.

Adam made his way to the Statuary, feeling a bit more comfortable with the ship and where to find everything. Guess it came in handy to get hopelessly lost at first. He hadn't seen much of Billy lately and he really should get in touch with the teen. Despite who he has met, he still felt a bit lonesome, in a way.

He saw a girl with long brown hair and tanned skin at the Statuary and approached. He actually hadn't met many from his team, except Kazuki. He waved to her and gave a shy smile. "Hi, I'm Adam," He said, he doubted she knew who he was otherwise.

Having just finished up down at the Med-bay, Kazuki had been exploring around the ship for a little while. It was only the little alarm he'd set on his Omnicom that reminded him that he had the team meeting to get to.

He quietly wanders into the Statuary, giving the room a rather awe-filled look around before looking over at his teammates and giving them a small wave.

"Hello," he says simply.

She looked up and saw that one of the people had already arrived. Adam looked older than her, and saw that he looked a little out of sorts. She walked over to the older teen and greeted him warmly.

"Hi Adam! My name is Katara! I guess we'll just wait for Julian to come here: have you met him already?"

That would wait, as another of the team approached. She hadn't met him yet, but still offered him a welcoming smile. "Hi! I'm Katara and this is Adam! Who are you?"

Sokka had managed to make his way down to the right location, he hoped. He stuck his head around a corner, and seeing the others (including Katara) he made his way over to the group, one hand lifted in greeting.

"Hey guys."

"Is this Team Sierra?" Hunter asks, approaching the small group of people apprehensively. It didn't look like he was either first or last, which was a good thing; Hunter was still trying to stay as inconspicuous as possible.

"Ah, sorry," he replies to Katara's question. "I'm Kazuki."

Excuse him, he's still distracted from only just getting to see all the crazy stuff on the ship.

"Yes, this is Team Sierra." Julian was there, on time at least. It would be bad form for the team leader to be late, after all.

"Or at least most of it." They were still down a Waspinator.

Katara nodded in the newcomer's direction. "Oh good! Almost all of us are here! I think we're missing...the Waspinator, and Bix. I'm glad you all were able to make it. My name is Katara." She pointed to the others whose name she knew. "That is Adam, that's my brother Sokka, this is Kazuki, and HE is our leader, Julian. We're pleased to meet you all. Now I'll sit and let Julian take over."

She sat down near Sokka, resting her head on her hands crosslegged.

As Waspinator flew into the room, he was secretly glad there were no Predacons or Maximals to deal with. (one stupid Autobot but he was slow compared to him) Waspinator set down on robot mode, and gave the girl a calm look.

"Waspinator is here and ready."

...ok. So the Waspinator was a giant robotic wasp.

"...Okay.

"I think we're still short one, but this is mostly just an informal thing. Just so we at least all know who is who, what each of us can do, where we're from and all of that good stuff.

"Since, apparently, we're supposed to be working together. But doing what? I don't know. No one has figured that part out yet."

"Well no," Katara said, "Because no one can accurately describe the things we'll be fighting soon. But I figure some of the people on this ship have faced some of the foes on certain missions, right? If we get their stats,. as a team we can use the Sensoriums and train to see our best set methods in case of a mission. Of course actual fighting will be a little unpredictable but if we all know how we respond in a fight, imagine how better prepared we'd be!"

The Waspinator (that name) threw her off a little too, but at this stage of the game, it wasn't that more startling then meeting a priestess or a green guy.

"Maybe we should start by each of us demonstrating what we can do," Kazuki speaks up. "That way we know what everyone's specialty is, so we can form strategies around that."

Adam nodded. "And get to know each other better too. Um... I can start, if you like?"

Okay, so he didn't really want to, but someone had to start something, right?

Sokka shook himself out of his shock, unable to avoid gaping at the robot wasp...thing. Okay, this place just got far more interesting, super-geniuses and such aside. He'd have to talk to Waspinator(that was his name right?) later. Because robot wasp? Awesome. He glanced at Adam and nodded, crossing his arms.

"Sounds good to me."

Adam nodded and decided to just go for it for now. "Well, I'm Adam Park. Uh, my specialty really is that I'm a martial artists. My main form is Shaolin Kung Fu," He wondered briefly if these guys knew what that meant... you never know with people from other worlds. "But I've been incorporating other forms into it as well to better my fighting style."

Hunter is starting to think that prolonged exposure to Stacy is harmful to the brain; he just saw a robot wasp fly into the room and start talking and he thought that was only slightly weird. "I'm Hunter, and I'm a healer. ... and a pacifist." he says, slightly nervously.

"I'm Kazuki," he says, "I pilot the Fafner Mark Sein. It's an experimental combat mecha. I specialize in close combat with it, though it does have ranged weaponry it can use. It also has the ability to temporarily assimilate weapons and machinery, giving me control of them and increasing their power output to extremes."

He pauses, thinking of anything else that might be of use.

"I'm also skilled in Jiujutsu, but that's not something I'd really use in actual combat."

Katara waited for a few of her teammates to tell what they were capable of, and where they were from. Although she was a little nervous about the pacifist and she'd have to learn what a mecha pilot was, she was still sure these were things they could work through, right?

"My name is Katara, and I'm from the Southern Water Tribe. My ability is waterbending: I can use water to my advanatage in just about any situation. I can freeze water, create steam, use waterwhips, even cause tidal wave attacks if there's enough of it. Also, I have the ability to heal with the water too."

She turned to Sokka. "This is my brother, Sokka."
