It was a dark and stormy night. Really, it was. Shawn had gone all out for his Victorian-era mystery. He needed some way of keeping his skills sharp, and where better to do that than in the seat of someone who had apparently mastered the same skills he had been honing for years.

Or he would be if he had someone to play along with. The Watson facsimile was really creeping him out.

It was then that Picard walked in, his plantsuit becoming a rather conservative suit, and his face now sporting a very classic British mustache. "Really, Mister Holmes, is this necessary?" he inquired with a smirk, glancing at the facsimile as it faded into nothingness.

"Well, Mister Holmes, I suppose a man of Mister Smithson's means could certainly find reason to be paranoid." Picard was himself quite the observant individual, noting the wealthy Victorian-styled finery and paintings, and also even a hint of must to the room, like it was old.

"He's certainly getting on in years, isn't he?"

"Then, Mister Holmes, it behooves us to find out whether Mister Smithson's paranoia is just that, or something more, doesn't it?"
