Maria walks over and looks at the headbot, pondering for a minute.

"So you the guy with the drill bot that was out there with me?"

Someone approaching caused Simon to at least sit up a little better than he had been, moving to lean on the front edge of Lagann's cockpit. "Yeah, I'm Simon. I was up top, and Allenby was down below."

"You handled yourself pretty well out there. Its nice to see the faces behind the robots."

Simon chuckles a bit. "Thanks - and yeah, not all of us can steer from the outside."

"Most people aren't crazy enough to pilot a robot with no cockpit. My Seibzehn was kind of rushed to activity so I had to learn to make due."

That gets another chuckle. "Well, considering that you're still alive, looks like you did a damn good job of it."

She smirks a bit and nods.
