Spinelli still had that air of excitement that practically radiated off of him, but was self-aware enough to know if he started talking he ran the risk of saying entirely too much. And, for the sake of the mission, he kept his mouth shut.

Being recruited into the Corps, though...well, suffice it to say, he had no problem with that at all. Hopefully the others would see it that way, too.
