Liberté, égalité, fraternité (and a hard-boiled egg)
With the Council having laid down the groundwork with the Daligig to gain their trust in the uprising, the crew prepared to put on a show, and the Daligig at their wit's end and impatient with the crew of the Transmigation 9, it was time to act.
The plans were clear. Allenby would be leading some of the crew in what looked like a hotheaded attempt the attack the Daligig and Kessek and oust them off the ship. Those that wanted to stay out of the fighting and take a neutral position of some kind were to make sure they stayed safe or acted their parts as the horrified crew-members that wanted everyone to make peace. And of course, anyone else was going to play a roll in pretending to side with the Council and the Daligig to put their fellow crew members down (without hurting them) making it look like it wasn't a clear-cut issue, so the Council could get the command codes necessary to start the crew's true takeover of the ship.
More observant members of the crew had noticed where the Daligig, Ghyll, and Kessek had been entering and leaving the restricted areas of the ship. The attack was to start at one of those entrances, as the fake rebels tried to storm in and take on the Daligig forces. After that, as the Kessek were drawn into the ship itself to put down the rebellion, it was going to be a free-for-all, a faux civil war of sorts, as flashy and convincing as they could make it without anyone actually dying.
Lights! Cameras! Action, people! It was time to put on a show and hope it was convincing enough for the Daligig to give the crew what they needed to truly be free.

Re: Starting Attack | Near the Crew Quarters
Anyway, it was still going to give them a chance to show the Daligig what kind of slaves they'd picked for themselves. Allenby just wished that Zouichi would've been here to give them hell at her side, but they had a good group anyway. She'd just make sure to kick twice as much ass in his name, and Howard's.
After everyone had 'stolen' the goodies that Lash had left out for them and Allenby was sure they were all ready, she turned on her comm ring. <<Okay guys, let's go!>>
With that, she burst out of the quarters, slammed her hand onto the panel to open the hatch to the restricted area and lobbed the first grenades inside--one frag, one flash. "Grenades and ranged stuff first, then we rush in!" she yelled to the rest of her not-quite-fake rebels.

There's some part of her that feels uncertain about aiming to kill those responsible for saving them, for those who should be on their side, but... It's been made clear the situation isn't ideal, and in order to do what's necessary, they're going to need to be in control of the ship. The plan seems sound enough, and, really, she could consider this paying the Daligig back for the suffering they'd needlessly caused.
But now there's no time for thinking like that. The grenades have gone off, and the order has come to attack at range first. "Got it." She moves around to a spot where she can aim around the door. With the kind of accuracy born of necessity, she fires at the first important-looking head that she sees.

That was where she came in. If it came to close ranged, she'd have to delve into her martial arts skills, but for right now, her waterbending is doing the trick. Sure, she didn't as much water as she liked, but that was a testament to how much she had been taught. With the little she had, and whatever moisture she could bring out of the air, she had ranged fighting down right now.
So right now, she had her water whip waiting for Kessek soldiers aiming to stop them.

"I am prepared for this battle. May we conquer!" Not that they would. It was part of the act. Was that convincing? She hoped so.

With considerable yelling, the Daligig and Ghyll scrambled to dive deeper into the restricted area--anywhere away--while the Kessek frantically rushed to meet the resistance, some of them tripping over terrified Ghyll. The confusion would give the invaders a significant leg up as Kessek scrambled to equip themselves, hustle the Daligig away, and organize themselves all at the same time.

Just not yet. Time to have some fun. It was amusing, causing chaos like this. She struggled not to laugh and still failed.

And Kaya wasn't even done yet.

"FLARE BIT!"
A rapid stream of red orbs fly from her hands to pepper the Kessek. Each one is only about as strong as a good punch on its own, but you pour enough on...

"Hey, Allenby - give me a shout when you're ready to really get in there!"

She didn't have time to think about what it meant that she was enjoying a deadly fight.
At Simon's call, she scooted over to the Lagann. "Anytime you're ready!" she said, pumping a fist.

They weren't well-equipped for this, but they did carry stunners as sidearms (in the event that one or two people might infiltrate a restricted zone), which they began firing at the attackers.
no subject
This would be far more effective if she had a continued water source, but at least taking some of the guns out this way would give a window of opportunity for some of the guys to punch through.

She flew lower to the ground, prepared to throw herself in front of the other crew members as a shield. As many as possible needed to escape and fight elsewhere.

"Sorry sugar lumps, this little mutiny ends here." While Splicer was aiming straight at them with his powerful weapon, he had already sneaked a few stun grenades that he'd lobbed just before he'd come into view.
If everything went right, those would hit before he'd have to fake a shot with the gun.

Having run out of grenades to throw, time to throw the next best thing. A quick check for clearance, and Lagann grabs Allenby, spinning a few times for momentum before tossing her at the opposition. "BEARDSLEY IMPACT!"
no subject
Starfire charged, shooting forward near Lagann. This was their big weapon and she would protect it with everything she had---
---until she got hit. She went down with a yell, firing one last wild eye laser. If she targeted it right, it would hit the ground behind Splicer, trying to discourage his backup.

She took a breath, extending her hand out, and used all the water around them to make a mist thick enough for subterfuge. That would at least give them time to show the Kessek they meant business.

"Sorry kids, you're a hundred wars too late." Splicer replied as he shadow jumped out of the way and cloaking near the Kessek. "Get around them, are you lot that stupid? Keep running back and they'll keep pressing forward until you're backed into a corner."
With that said, Splicer pushed his mind forward and attempted a directional stun using his psionics. He didn't need to see them, he already could sense all of them, friends and comrades, as clear as day in his mind.
no subject
She heard Starfire cry out behind her and hoped desperately that it was from Splicer; half a second later she heard the hiss of water turning into fog. "Nobeeeel SUPERBALL!" Allenby shouted, leaping up and backwards, aiming to land on Lagann itself. Pounding Kessek heads was all well and good, but she didn't want to get another broken bone off of them.

When the Kessek drew weapons, she aimed to take down those bearing them. But once the mist came and Allenby entered the fray, Elle lowered her gun. The mist worked against her as much as it worked for their group. Even if she could see, there wasn't any way she could've been prepared for the psionic stun pushed out by Splicer. She let out a cry (that was perhaps louder than she normally would have made) and allowed herself to fall back.

Once that was thrown, she moved to stand in front of Elle, giving her a bit of cover, and ready to raise a barrier if needed for the others.

With a mock grunt, spin and loosening of two incendiary grenades, Splicer added an extra surprise kick to the fireball's trajectory.
Hopefully the additional fire would add some damage to the enemy team.
Upon 'recovery' from having to dodge the fireball. Splicer shot a few special blanks into the group. They hurt, and they mimicked the impact of one of his energy blasts, complete with the singing of clothing, but it would simply sting and possibly knockout someone who's not sturdy or trained.
He was aiming to reduce casualties and keep the 'allies' thinking they were ahead and in charge.
no subject
She used what water she had left to at least catch the blanks and then made sure she formed and threw back at them a shower of icicle spikes. She didn't have enough water to impale, but it would at least be enough to look real.
Kaya would be moving on a moment later. There was still work to be done.

"Your crewmate is right!" one of them shouted, holding up his arm to shield from the icicles. "You cannot win this fight! Surrender!"
