The spider-leg tentacles quickly retracted, but not fast enough-- Billy scored a hit on the more vulnerable armor underneath where the sharpened ends rested when not in use. Gashakura took a hasty step backwards, whopping the tentacles sideways in front of him to force Billy backwards.
