Presea smiled sympathetically (and with, perhaps a bit of good-natured condescension). She nodded to Jackal's question. She hadn't read much on the omnicomm, not after reading the news about her planet's destruction, but Clef had filled her in on what was going on around here. It wasn't good, to put it lightly.

"It isn't very safe, is it? I'm sorry," she said. "I shouldn't have teased you so much. How have you been doing?"

He was clearly more than a little high-strung, so teasing wasn't very helpful.
