She threw herself against Orc's side, feet slipping in the ooze, trying to roll him over and failing. She shoved again - and thought she could see something under his side.
"He took something like a little control panel," she panted. "Tapped it. Can you reach it?"
She grabbed Orc's arm with both hands and lifted, feet squishing in the ooze, joints creaking in protest, and her teeth bared back to her ears. She was not going to see Howard's best friend die in front of her. She wasn't. She couldn't let that happen.
