badassfreakingoverlord: (do not read the overlord)

Council huddle!

They had more than a few things to get to, now that Things were Happening at an ever-increasing pace. A new Councilor to bring up to speed; plans to make and information to share; a question of how to deal with integrating new crew members into their plans... and Zetta for one was practically bursting at the binding to tell them a particularly juicy nugget of information.

(And, uh, after that whole unplanned fake traitor thing he'd pulled at Punishment, he owed them some explanations, but he didn't know that.)

Consequently, the Overlord had offered up his Fortress -- a blind spot in the City -- as the next meeting area, which he thought to be a fairly clever stroke of genius. How could it seem suspicious to meet at an extremely egotistical Councilor's home?

So the book sat in a comfy armchair which he'd had pulled up to the dining table he'd bought waaaaay back on XaXing, and waited for the meeting to come to order.

"This is a blind zone?" Kang asked for clarification. "Very convenient."

"As we need a place to meet frequently that is absolutely a blind spot - in the interest of my cover and yours - I propose we use your fortress from now on," Rhiow said. It was as good a starting place as any. "If you're willing."

"Such a blind spot would be of great use," Bight commented with a dip of his head, "I do however have a number of options that may allow for more freedom in meetings and locations, I shall leave them however until afterward," He tapped the ornate box with a finger before leaning back in his chair.
