A short distance away another pod opened, discharging its occupant out onto the squishy floor of the pod caverns. The man within - not terribly tall and mostly on the thin side, without much of a chin to speak of - rolled over on his side, coughing as his lungs remembered he actually needed to be breathing right about now.
He wasn't entirely sure he should be. The last thing Damian Spinelli remembered was the Demented Dr. Niles raising her gun and preparing to fire on his beloved Maximista - something he could not allow. He had stepped in between the two of them to try and calm the situation when there was a loud bang, a searing pain, and then...this.
And while Anwei may not seem surprised by whatever was going on, Spinelli was having rather the opposite reaction, finding himself staring up at two figures he couldn't quite see clearly thanks to the slime in his eyes - but who looked vaguely familiar because of that. He scrubbed at them a moment, trying to clear them before looking up at the two women who were talking.
"Maximista?" he asked, confusion clear in his voice. "I am sorry, perhaps I misunderstood. Did you just say fighting the Ohm?" That couldn't be right. Everyone knew that 'Ohm' was a holy meditation symbol, certainly not something to fight over. He squinted at the other woman, the one with the longer hair. "Fair Lulu?"
