Splicer frowned, it was hard to keep his head out of hers when he was trying to keep his own thoughts in check. Pulling her over once more, gently, still trying to comfort her, he began rubbing her back.
"We never know who, when or why we end up back in the pods. Sometimes someone will seem plain normal, their everyday selves and somehow will end up in the pods... You shouldn't blame yourself, or them, or anyone other than this crazy war we're in. But that's why we're fighting isn't it? So we can stop all of this, so everyone can be happy once more right?"
He looked at her, lifting his shades so they'd rest on top of his head and gazed at her own eyes.
