Green Is So Last Season [Open!]

Ever since Rarity popped, there was one thing on the ship which irked her most. The hideous colour of the plant suits. She disliked green a lot and she vowed to change the garment's colours. She had a handful of plant suits laid out on the table in front of her and she levitated one, eyeing the material and poking it with her hoof.

"I didn't know you could make clothes from this kind of material... Let's see what you're made of so I can change your colour."

It did appear to others that the unicorn was talking to an inanimate object.

Applejack watched, curious. This was great...as long as she didn't have to wear the purple.

"Yee-haw! You've got it. Everypony can wear whatever color they like?"

Rarity nodded. "I'll have them in every shade of colour that is possible!" She changed the remaining four suits on the table into red, yellow, orange and blue.

"I could change colour of the band on your hoof if you like, Applejack."

Any color? Applejack lifts the hoof with the band around it, looking at it this way and that in the light.

"What color do you reckon I should take? Not so sure about this green, but I don't know what else to try."

Rarity pointed to the bright red plant suit on the table. "I think a can give you a lighter shade of red. Would you like that?" She knew Applejack didn't like things too outstanding and toning down the colour a bit would suit her earth pony friend.

Hmm. Applejack eyed the suit critically, lifting her hoof to see how it measured up. That might do it!

"Sure will! Let's see it," she offered, curious about the result.

Rarity's horn glowed and bent her head down slightly to direct the magic towards the green band. It was smaller and much easier to manipulate so she managed to change the colours of the band effortlessly.

"It's the same shade of red in your gala dress."

((OOC: Eeek, I forgot that I have unfinished business with your Billy character!!!))

"So it is," Applejack agreed, staring at it in wonder. Wow! You couldn't even tell it was green before.

"Thanks, Rarity. Say, you picked a color for yourself yet?"

((Aw, don't worry about it! Tag it if you're still interested, if not that's fine too))

She shook her head. "I think I can manage without the band."

Rarity's eyes lit up again. "Ooo. Maybe I can make an announcement on the comm things about new colour suits!"

"Yeah, why don't you? You'll get your business going!" They'd both be at it again. Trading apples and clothes, just like the old days. She liked the sound of that.

"Got something else you'd rather wear?"

[whining_unicorn]

"Not at the moment, I've got some orders that I need to fill up. Their designs are rather lovely!" Rarity beamed at the thought of making outfits.

"Sounds good," Applejack said truthfully. It really did. She was glad her friend was herself again, but...maybe she'd better step out before she became a model for anything else.

"Anything else I can help you with today, Rarity?"

The unicorn shook her head. "You've already helped me with the plant suit, Applejack. I'll be fine making outfits for my customers." She gave her friend a smile and put a hoof on her shoulder.
