Barbara's eyebrows shot up in surprise at the gesture. He hadn't ever done that to her before. It took a bit of strength to not touch a hand to her cheek, as though the spot on her skin might feel like his lips.
She smiled and looked down at her feet. There was every chance she was reading too much into the little kiss, but she didn't mind. It was...nice. And it wouldn't be so bad if he did it again.
"You'll get sick of me after a while, I'm sure," Barbara said quietly, willing the tingling blush away from her cheeks.
