Once released, Clef somehow made his way over to one of the couches and curled up there, out of the way. He neither needed medical attention nor was he in any state to give it to others, but he was still conscious and aware of what had just occurred. Right now he was nestled with one cheek pressed affectionately against Stacy's soft flesh and one hand sort of... petting her.
"Thank you," he murmured.
What had happened was better than anything he had hoped for. Somehow he hadn't been expecting Stacy to show her own agency and actually protect them. Somewhere in between being released from the pods and this incident he had forgotten the first thing he thought he knew about Stacy - that she loved them. She was there every day, staring him in the face, and yet he had managed to forget how beautiful he had initially thought she was.
