Fuu's temper flared. She clenched her fists, preparing to step up and support Clef in whatever he was planning to do--she could not stand by and let this happen without some kind of fight, even if it did seem to be hopeless. She shifted as the Kessek sneered and the Daligig turned away.

"But Windam--!" she hissed.
"Your feelings are admirable. I, too, hate to see this. But look around you. Even if you were to don me, it would not be enough to overcome them." His voice spoke to her ears alone, surprisingly sympathetic. "You cannot let yourself be maimed or killed, just so you can feel like you are fighting."
She drew in a deep breath, shaking. What of Clef? He will need healing. I can support him, I hope, without drawing their wrath. Fuu clasped her hands in front of her, so tightly that they turned white, as she waited.
