Azula had come to the punishment on her own, curious to see just how this military dealt with desertion. More to the point it would give her a better idea of the fate that awaited her if she couldn't control herself. She was getting better at holding onto her will...but the episodes were also becoming more fractured and unstable.

Peering up at the victims she wondered if it had been cowardice, or something more that drove them to try and abandon the likely last humans in the universe.
