After watching the Daligig slaughter the previous crew twice, Barbara went in search of any kind of material on the Daligig, Stacey, pod-popping and the crews which had traveled on Stacey. She didn't expect to find much more than what GLaDOS had told her but it was worth a look. Especially with all this talk of rebellion and distrust.

So, in a corner of the Media Library Barbara sat with piles books, stacks of visual recordings and audio recordings, plus pot of tea which had been sitting empty for a while. She was lost in her own world, memorising what she could and trying to gain a better picture of the ship, the war and everything else which could be considered relevant.

"I'll do it," Barbara nodded after a moment of silence as she thought about the possibilities and ramifications. "What we'd potentially learn could be highly valuable to our cause."

"Is there a place you suggest?"

Totally submitting a plot for this.

"There's a walled-off section of the med bay that I swear to God is just taunting me. It'd be wrong to leave it uninvestigated." He tries to sound more confident about it than he is. "You can bring Ian too, if you want."

She contemplated briefly as to whether Ian should join them. He probably should, as Barbara wasn't particularly great at fighting, or science. But she was sure he wouldn't like the idea, and would then insist on coming purely so he could protect the two of them.

"We should tell someone who won't be coming, just in case something happens." Not that she knew what might happen.

Howard has no problems with being protected! That's why he plans to ask Sakura if she's interested.

"Great, now that you've talked like that you've jinxed it. We're all screwed." He's kidding only not really.

Barbara chuckled, though she didn't much feel like it.

"I need to leave this library," she said as she stood and stretched. There weren't any clocks on the walls but it could very well have been close to 24 hours since Barbara walked in. Or maybe it was closer to 12. She had no way of knowing. "Why don't we think on it and get in touch again in say, three days' time? Unless we have an fantastic idea that needs sharing right away, of course. Or we bump into one another elsewhere."

"Sounds good to me." Howard gives her a thumbs up and downs the rest of his tea. "If we need each other we got the comms."

He waves a hand over his face. "And do the sleep thing. You look tired."

"I promise," Barbara smiled and laid a gentle hand briefly on his shoulder as she walked past and out into the greater parts of the ship.

Howard, doing his best to not fly off the handle at Barbara for little innocuous things anymore, doesn't jerk away from the touch and just smiles a bit instead. Then he goes back to his corner of the Media Library to look over more tapes.
