Above came the roars of dragons: it looked as if demon Hit girl preferred them here, over head, and there was one right beside her very throne, looking only a little docile in its masters presence. Demon Mindy, meanwhile, looked impassive, awaiting news of her latest acquisition.


"Your highness! The irrepressible Lash is formally challenging you for a duel for the sake of the Kaliqs islands! It arrived today!"

The Demon girl flexed her arms, a malevolent grin and, hidden somewhere, the smile of a little girl. "Excellent. It's been a long time since I fought the likes of her. And the status of the viking demon in the North?"

"You mean Ruffnut, your w-"

But he was exterminated instantly with only a casual flick of her wrist, and her eyes were still looking impassive. "Let's not make that mistake again with any of you, ok?"

And the dream faded, and Mindy was back again.
